I am definitely prejudice …. I do not like GASTON. Did not like him in the Disney movie …. did not like him earlier in OUAT …. did not like him today.
I thought the episode was slow, slow, slow …. I was bored and started doing other stuff …. not paying attention during the episode is not normal for me… I am usually glued.
Liked Rumple even though he is dark … he does not lie to Belle … he just tells it like it is.
Grandpa French’s clothes were a hoot…. I love the hat! Very GermanicI am thinking that Hades really cares for Zelina …. something to watch.

The official synopsis from Disney ABC Press reveals that Rumplestiltskin gets a request from Belle to find a way to protect their child from Hades. Their plans will hit a rough patch, but Belle does not want Rumple to use dark magic so he can use it for evil. Their current biggest opponent, Hades, arranges a secret meeting with Gaston in his territory. The controller of the Underworld convinces the Prince from “Frozen” to seek revenge on Rumple.The synopsis further reveals that the rest of the heroes are still figuring something out so they can devise a plan that could destroy Hades. Meanwhile, Emma begins to realize that her terrifying nightmare is slowly becoming a reality. Belle and Gaston’s past will also be revealed in flashbacks. It will show both of them meeting for the first time, and when their budding romance was about to bloom fully, it was ruined by the war of the Ogres.
A sneak peek of Gaston can be seen on the promo trailer for “Her Handsome Hero.” The short clip reveals the characters that the heroes never knew they’d meet in the underworld. Hades visits Gaston and asks the latter if he wants to finally get a shot at revenge. It shows that Rumple was the one who killed Gaston, and when they finally meet again in the Underworld, Gaston tells Rumple that he will return the favor of killing him. When Belle and Hades meet, he tells her that he wants to get her baby.

.– The ultimate highlight of this episode is when Zelena gave Baby Greenbean her best chance by giving her to Robin & Regina!
ZELINA made sure the baby was safe with her father …. baby Greenbean was going to get her best chance. ZELINA gave up the baby to give the baby a chance …. despite her own wishes and desires.This compares to when Cora gave Zelena up to give Cora her best chance, and parallels when Regina gave Henry up to Charming to give him his best chance!
CORA did what she did for her own sake.CORA abandoned baby ZELINA by leaving her by the side of the road in a forest where animals could have attacked her or she could have starved to death. As it was she was swept away by the wind and landed with a woman who cared for her thru her childhood…. she lucked out with a mother but not with the step father.
To me what CORA did was more like what the Charmings did by putting EMMA into the enchanted cabinet …. although the alternative was EMMa 1/ being killed by Evil Queen or 2/ raised by EVIL QUEEN … that could have been worse.
YOU are right when you said REGINA giving HENRY to the Charmings and later becoming family with Emma because of HENRY was a good thing.–How does Dorothy know the Scarecrow? And how does the Scarecrow have a brain if the Wizard never gave one to him? And he never met Dorothy and had the proper Oz story?

I do not think there needs to be a PROPER OZ story in OUAT. It would be too much like having FROZEN, PAN, CAMELOT … getting further from the MAIN CHARACTER CENTERED stories. Those are the stories I like the best. As for the other stories it is fun reviewing them with my grandson and the kids… I like a light flavor of them in ONCE… but I do not like when the non-ONCE characters and stories take over the show.Give me the main characters, the STORY BOOK and author adventures … those are the one I want…. less Disney and more OUAT.
