. . IT was the quality of the bagpipes playing that upset her NOT the fact that there were bagpipes in the score…. I totally agree with her …. I have heard newbie bag pipers play better than that.
Lol. I was being heavily sarcastic. The bagpipes are annoying as HECK.

.WONDER if the LIVE podcast/ radio shows that occur here on ONCE and with After Buzz have any impact on the numbers… I usually bail on TV when I join those shows.
I also think that since ONCE is a family show that families with kids get busy putting the kids to be and getting ready for the next day of school. …. I do not think that ABC has put anything on that families would want to continue watch or have on while kids are awake. I know I do not let my gdS watch anything they have on after 9 pm.

What did you think of Merida and Belle’s adventure and Belle turning Merida into a queen-hero without the aid of magic?
I think this foreshadows that DARK ONE will be defeated without MAGIC but with smarts instead.
To me this episode was a FILLER just to get closer to the finale / two hour episodes. Rather boring … to much like the FROZEN arc …. even though it had BELLE adventure and then RUMBELLE with Rumple turning into a hero … it was boring. RUMPLE redemtion arc and turning into a hero was too disjointed and off the wall PLOT DRIVEN.
And what happened to Merida’s brothers once she saved them from the clans?
EMMA said that the brothers went to be with their mother…. did you notice they did not get to say ONE WORD…..
MERIDA should have shot the guy that lead the rebellion…. at least in his butt … I think he will continue to give her trouble.

–There is a total lack of logic in this show. I mentioned a lot of this in the mixed but there was so much “convenience for the sake of plot!” Belle being there with a book, Rumple throwing a bag of anti magic into the bear’s mouth for reasons, Merida managing to knock off three arrows and everyone bows to her because “hey look what she can do!”
–The appropriation of Scottish highlander culture without really understanding it, and relying exclusively on stereotypes, is rather insulting.
–Belle’s cloak was ugly.
–The plot in Storybrooke has come to an utter standstill. Nothing is happening. Everyone stood around and stared at a magic mushroom and nothing happened.
–Merlin telling Emma that it doesn’t matter how he was in that movie theater. OMG. Just say that he projected himself to her! Make it up! Use a magical mcgufifn you have to! But don’t just wave your hand and go “it matters not, silly woman!”
–Rumple smashed Chip. ‘kay.
–According to everyone in SB, if Rumple loses his life that’s an acceptable price because he’s had so many chances. But Emma we totally have to save! OMG: get this through your heads, you hypocrites. The darkness has been canonically established to be a sentient entity that can corrupt even a SAVIOR. What does that mean? It means that Rumple was just as much under the influence of that darkness as Blessed Emma Swan. So it means we try to save BOTH. Because they BOTH matter and are family! COME ON. Remember when he sacrificed himself for his love and his son? For the town? He is worth fighting for, just like Emma.
–Rumple didn’t injure himself for his son, not even a little bit. Retcon. Horrible character assassination retcon. He did for Bae and he did it because he was scared. That mix of fear and heroism has always defined Rumple, it’s what made him complex and the writers just reduced him to a singular concept: cowardice. Malarkey. Absolute malarkey.
–Remember last week when Rumple talked about how he did everything for his boy! This show can’t even stay consistent from week to week, let alone arc to arc!
–“I killed Neal” *Emma doesn’t even acknowledge any of this*
–No. More. Magical. McGuffins. For. The. Love. Of. Everything.

DITTO here …. I rate this episode 3/10 probably my all time least favorite episode … JUST A FILLER with no redeeming qualities…. too much like the FROZEN arc …. bad writing no action for our CORE characters …. do the writers even know the stories that have come before this?WHAT get my goat the most …. I came home early on purpose just so I would not miss this show… should have stayed where I was.
I think it will actually drop to 1.4 or 1.5 …. despite being a RUMBELLE episode…
The heavily BRAVE episode ( this one is) is to much like the FROZEN type episodes…. easy to miss as it is NOT core story.
Looking into MILO AND OTIS >>> SPY KIDS >>>HERO 6 >>> putting off SPIDERMAN and Super Heros after the last time he almost broke my DH’s family TIFFANY LAMP ( now safely moved to the master bedroom) Loves the action movies but gets rambunctious …. have Harry Potter 1 thru 7 BUT only let him watch 1-4 >>>
THINK part of my problem is I have a lot of DVDs and VHS tapes ( have players) so I tend to run out of ideas… thank you for all the great film ideas…. THIS THREAD has been very helpful.
