ParticipantToday has been a very good morning for us and it’s only going to better later this afternoon when Jen appears with Adam and Eddy at NYCC.
Jen appeared on GMA and Michael and Kelly. Both interviews are pinned here.
But my favorite part came from the GMA interview was where Jen said: I love that Emma is a real woman and strong and vulnerable. Captain Hook is her equal” [x]

ParticipantDaniel suggested on the podcast last night that maybe Anna is actually trapped inside of the snowflake necklace.
That’s creepy but considering the hat spoiler Bobby talked about, this would not surprise me now.

ParticipantAlso and what would be nice is if the other towns people realized that it would be better to have Regina as mayor and she comes back.
Grumpy, Granny and whoever beg Regina to come back as Mayor because Snow can’t keep it together.

ParticipantI think Elsa was born with her powers. One possibility is, that it runs in the family (maybe mother’s side, female side) but surfaces only rarely. The Snow Queen might be her aunt, and it showed in her as well. Another possibility: Elsa’s mother was pregnant with her when she accidentally or less accidentally was frozen by the Snow Queen, who might have been even her sister. The mother’s true love, who she just had married, the prince of Arendelle, and father to Elsa and later Anna, saved her by an act of true love. But their firstborn because of these events got the ice powers. (not inherited but still born with it)
Interesting theories. Yeah, I really hope the origin of Elsa’s powers are explained more on Once vs. the movie. I like Frozen, great music and all, but that was the one thing that I felt was seriously lacking.
Not liking the idea, to give Elsa a different mother, of making her the daughter of the Snow Queen. Normally I am all for not limiting family to blood related, but in this case, because of Elsa’s special power, it would feel like a cheat. Elsa is different, oh, but she was adopted, that explains it all. No, sometimes it’s not that. Sometimes you are of the blood, or genes, of the same parents, and very different from them and from your siblings. Sometimes you feel so different, that you feel like you have to be of different parents, it can feel like an odd relief to imagine, you were adopted, but you aren’t. There are no other, biological parents out there, somewhere, who would understand you better, just because they are of your blood. You are who you are and you might be very unique in your family, but you are still blood related family. That is a feeling I sense in Elsa’s story, and like, and I would prefer to keep it.
I’ve been trying to think of why I was not on board with the adopted theory and this is why.

ParticipantThe way the two of them interacted in the snow cave e fastest we have seen Emma let down her walls. Talking a to perfect stranger who had as good as condemned her to death she is sharing her lack of magic control, growing up alone and talking about Henry.
I just watched the episode and I think this probably the only thing that bothered me.
It’s that Emma never mentioned that she had a son to Elsa, so where did that come from? I feel like there might be another deleted scene there when Elsa tries to get Emma to talk about herself ad she mentions Henry. But I don’t remember Emma talking about Henry to Elsa.

ParticipantHow does Charming knows Kristoff?
Is Kristoff really from Arendale or was his family from the EF? ‘Cause it seems like not many people cross from Arendale to the Enchanted Forest, or vise versa. Kristoff was an orphan so it makes sense that he grew up moving around a lot.

ParticipantI remember reading somewhere that Adam and Eddy wanted the actor who played Sawyer on Lost for a specific role on Once and after reading that interview, I compared a pic of Josh Holloway and Josh Dallas and seriously, JH could be Charming’s dad I think. If we ever got that backstory one day. And I’m calling it now, JH would be Charming’s father.
