There’s a lot to think about here. Â I love how you summarized the idea of each couple.
I’ll start with Snowing.
I think their love is a mix of healthy and unhealthy to be honest.
It’s still think a pure love but as you said, that episode where Snow sacrificed Charming’s heart to enact the curse and then in the next moment, took it back; that’s where I think it’s a kind of unhealthy love. Â Because it negated Charming’s sacrifice.
I almost feel like if there was no way to bring Charming back to life at that point, Snow would have taken her own life. Â Because what kind of life could she have without her true love and husband?
I don’t think suicide is a good thing but if Adam and Eddy went that route, it would be promoting a dangerous and unhealthy love. Â Since you can’t live without this person, you have to take your own life in order to be together in death.
[adrotate group="5"]When you think about it, after their shared moment in 3×05, Emma relied on Hook a lot in Neverland. She looked to him to be honest with her when the news broke about Neal possibly being alive, and then again in Dark Hollow about what that place is. I think that says a lot, that she did not trust Neal to tell her the truth.
If she couldn’t trust him to tell her the truth, tell me then how a romantic relationship between them could possibly work? It can’t.Â
You can’t have a relationship without trust. She trusted Neal with her heart once and he broke that trust. But Emma trust Emma because she said so to Regina. Â And trust with Emma, is something that has to be steadily built. Â Hook earned her trust and also, earned her love because he stuck to what he promised her,
So when I win your heart, Emma… and I will win it… it will not be because of any trickery. It will be because you want me.
He never once tricked her. He was honest with her about most everything (with the exception of Zelena’s kiss but most Oncers forget there, if he told anyone, people would die). Â What’s a better outcome? Emma lose her powers or people die? Â Both are bad and Hook knew that.
I don’t know but I think whatever Emma decided, he’ll respect her decision. If she wants to keep their relationship private, they will but I think in a town like Storybrooke, that’ll be difficult.
I think regardless, David is going to be open to CS, and that’s probably the way Snow will come around.

but he’s probably supporting along the lines of “Emma’s an adult now and can make her own decisions. I’m here if she needs me” whereas Snow will probably be more “I think it’s too soon after Neal but I won’t say anything. I’ll wait and see how it plays out”.
Considering how they parent Emma, both their styles are different, I think this will likely be the case. I was thinking yesterday, if we get a TLK this season, please, for the love of Hook’s chest hair, Snow better be present. So she can see it with her eyeballs that Killian is Emma’s true love. Hopefully then, a light bulb or whatever will go off and she’ll get it finally.
