ParticipantRumple projects his anger on people. He’s angry with Milah for abandoning Bae when actually, he’s angry with himself for letting go of Bae’s hand at the portal. I look at that scene on Hook’s ship when he confronts Milah and Hook and it’s all about projecting his anger. Rumple knows he made a mistake but letting go of Bae’s hand but at that point in time, he wasn’t going to openly admit it so he blames his shortcomings on other people.
I know someone like this in real life.

ParticipantThat is too bad. I really wanted to tackle a true love meta for Wonderland. I already set up sections and what I wanted to talk about.
I’ll keep checking though. It might pop up without announcement.

ParticipantI hope Wonderland follows.

ParticipantEvery time you love it’s different. So celebrate the person you love now. Doesn’t mean you love them less. I do believe a person can move on. But there are those who don’t and never move on after losing their loves. And what does moving on really means. I think the wording of sometimes makes people feel like they have to give up that love and that memory. And really you don’t. You can live life and still love and cherish the ones you lost. You don’t have to close of the past or the memory you can cherish, honor, and respect it and still cherish honor and respect what is happening now.
“Moving” on doesn’t mean you have to forget and moving on doesn’t mean you don’t have to stop loving either.
I agree.

ParticipantOh I agree, Milah definitely did not have a good first impression on the audience. I’m shocked when I across posts from people who sympathize with her and often times, what those people have to say, are fascinating reads. It does make me sympathize with Milah a little more but I’m definitely not a pro-Milah fan.
Rumple’s my favorite and Hook’s my favorite too. I don’t think Hook was unjustified for going after Rumple, especially after Rumple murdered his love and took his hand. That’s pretty heavy damage right there that warrants some kind of retribution. But the purpose of Milah again, was to explain the rivalry between both men and what drives Hook to vengeance.

ParticipantI might said this before but I think if we see Milah again, it won’t be in relation to Captain Swan but something related to Rumbelle. I think as far as Killian and Milah’s love story is concerned, that story is done.
Adam and Eddy to give us a reason why Hook hated Rumple (ergo why Milah is really a plot device character). So the reason they hated each other was because of a woman.
And in some regards, Neal was a plot device character as well. Adam and Eddy needed to explain why Emma has walls and Neal was the reason. I don’t think the reason why Neal was introduced was to be a love interest for Emma. It was just to contrast these two relationships and show us why Emma is the way she is.
I think we all know the character of Neal was never really developed outside of his relationships with Emma and Rumple. A vast majority of his character was about his relationship with Rumple.
Now if Adam and Eddy had stuck with their plan to make Bar and Neal two desperate characters, it would be a different story but they didn’t.

ParticipantI agree with most of what @rumplegoldfan said.
Once is show about love and showcasing all kinds of love. I honestly and seriously do not think that one love is held in high her regard over the other. It’s all love in one form or another.
(If you listen to the season 1 finale DVD commentary, in Adam and Eddy’s point of view, the highest form of love is not soulmates; it’s a mother’s true love).
I think the only problem here is Adam and Eddy’s wording of both definitions. But I bet if someone asked them again, they’d provide a clearer and more detailed definition.
I think we’re getting hung up on semantics instead of really dissecting and discussing similarities.

ParticipantWhat if Hans or Elizabeth Mitchell’s character made a deal with Rumple to put Elsa in the urn? Or maybe Elsa or ANna/Kristoff made a deal with Rumple and the price was for Elsa being trapped in the urn?
But why make such a deal? I think Elsa gets framed for doing something Mitchell’s character does.

ParticipantAdam and Eddy did not say Rumple and Cora were soulmates, they said that they were kindred spirits who were much like soul mates! In my personal opinion, Rumple and Cora were very much in love…True Love!
Actually, Rumple and Cora have been referred to as both soulmates ( x) http://www.tvfanatic.com/2013/03/once-upon-a-time-scoop-snows-dark-side-golds-vengeance-the-futur/ and kindred spirits (x) http://www.blogtalkradio.com/barbara-barnett/2013/03/13/once-upon-a-time-with-guest-jane-espesnon
But Cora was absolutely not Rumple’s true love because her kissing him did not break his Dark One curse. Only Belle did that.
