ParticipantHmm, interesting.

ParticipantI agree with @RumplesGirl’s assessment. But I think the thing that truly makes Pan evil, is that he has no regrets over anything that he had done. He said to Rumple that he thought about abandoning him every day but then again, two or three episodes later, he calls him a squirming little larva. And basically said his life and his hopes and dreams were ruined the minute Rumple was born.
The other characters RG listed above, for the most part, have expressed some form of regret and I think that’s what sets them apart from Pan.

ParticipantI think his appearance will likely be fairytale land related.

ParticipantSince Breaking Bad is done, hopefully, this will be a longer stint on Once. Not just a cameo.

ParticipantJane Espenson also posted this on her twitter, back in June.
Storytelling is about arcs because characters change. And if we believe that, we believe people can change. Better to educate than condemn.

I think there’s a general rule when it comes to storytelling, if your characters don’t evolve or change, the reader tends to get bored with said character. Because what’s the point then of following a character from the beginning of a story to the end? Besides the plot, it’s to see how the character changes and evolves over time. It’s character growth. A character is not fascinating to watch if said character stays stagnant and doesn’t change.
And here’s another fanfiction term or two, Mary Sues and Gary Stu’s. These are characters who are flawless to a tee and the author purposely writers them that way. The problem with Mary Sues and Gary Stu’s because they are flawless, there’s nothing relatable about them. All of the characters on Once are flawed, good and bad. I haven’t seen one character on this show who closely resembles a Mary Sue or Gary Stu and that’s because everyone is flawed. So when a Oncer claims, or says something even remotely close that Character A hasn’t done anything bad, it’s simply not true because we’ve seen it! Villains would not need redemption if they hadn’t done something bad.

ParticipantIt’s not about changing. People are who they are, there’s not a lot you can do about that. But there are good versions of yourself, and bad versions of yourself, and you have to decide for yourself, what version you want to be. He isn’t different for Emma. But it’s because of her and her influence and her family and the new life he’s making for himself that he is different.
I love this part.

ParticipantGeorgina Haig posted this picture…. A glimpse as to what Elsa may look like…. http://instagram.com/p/lqd_mus7vM/embed/#
The photo going around of Georgina in a make-up trailer, looking Elsa like, is not fake, BUT it's from FOUR MONTHS ago.
