I don’t think Emma would allow herself to become as corrupted by magic as Regina was. Play with magic, have fun with it–yes but not to think extent as say the way Willow crashed (figuratively and literally) on Buffy. I think Emma has great self control that she can recognize when she’s gone too far and she has a lot of people around her who will tell her when she has too.
