ParticipantWhen it comes to CS debate, I stick to two places: here and my tumblr.
My opinion on Milah, I think what we need to know about her story is done. To be honest, I don’t think we were meant to know more about her character in general other than her main two character identifiers: Rumple’s wife and Hook’s lover. Bae’s mother also but we knew very little about her background in general. This makes me conclude that she is like the Blue Fairy = she is a plot device character. The first episode we met her, it was to explain the rivalry between Hook and Rumple. Second episode she appeared, to explain why she despised Rumple’s so much.
If we learned anything else new about her, it was from Rumple or Hook (the drawing thing). I do remember writing a CS/Milah fanfic trying to fill in the gaps of Hook/Milah relationship but I don’t think we need to see anymore about her character, especially since Hook put her into the “first love” category. Milah = Hook’s past and Emma = Hook’s future.
I’m okay with that. Now where I think Milah might come up again in next season, will probably to parallel the Rumbelle relationship since they are currently married. I want to see how Belle deals with Rumple’s big lie and if she behaves like Milah in how she treats Rumple.

ParticipantAnd her character in X-Men, if I remember correctly, she could make herself into crystals or ice or something. Seems fitting. 🙂

ParticipantI agree @priceofmagic.

ParticipantI also think a lot of people forget that Milah is her own person and she makes her own choices. She chose to leave with Killian. He didn’t force her, he didn’t kidnap her. She fell in love with him and she chose to leave Rumple and Bae behind.

ParticipantMe too.

ParticipantIf Rumple was truly suicidal, I would think instead of proposing to Belle, the first thing he would have done after being free is use the knife to kill himself. He did NO such thing.
Rumple uses the dagger on himself, he dies and the DO power goes away.

ParticipantI agree Jenna and good point about Neal. I doubt he would approve of father avenging him.

I agree with RG. Belle fell in love with Rumple because she saw that he could be a good man and there is beauty inside of him. Yes, they talked about Bae but he wasn’t the reason they fell in love.
When Belle learned about True Love’s kiss, her reaction wasn’t ‘I’m going to kiss him because he has this son out there and that’s such a turn on!’ No, no. She kissed them because she believed it was true love between her and Rumple and it is. They truly love each other.

ParticipantBless you @RumplesGirl.

ParticipantI know I haven’t been a fan of rumbelle in awhile since my ‘shipping has been busy elsewhere but there’s more to rumbelle than simply being labeled as a kissing ‘ship.
Actually, when you consider how long they’ve been boyfriend and girlfriend (actual relationship status) it’s only been two seasons. And let’s not forget how times they’ve been separated. You can’t kiss someone when you’ve separated. And Belle brings out the best in Rumplr (the exception being that he couldn’t let go of his revenge and killed Zelena). She believes in him too that he can be better and that’s what makes Rumple’s actions heartbreaking. And a beauty can fall in love with a beast, see past his fleas and help him realize he is worthy of love.
So yes, it’s more than a kissing relationship.
