I love that Once’s Captain Hook is different from previous portrayals. I’ve never viewed the character of Hook as “sexy”.
It used to be when I thought of Hook, he was exactly how Emma described him in Quite the Common Fairy. That cliche interpretation just wasn’t sexy.
But more than that, I love how layered Hook is here on Once. He’s like Rumple where we’ve seen him at different stages of his life and each phase, he has a different personality.
I don’t think I would enjoy the character as much if he was the same pirate we knew from Disney. He’d still be fun to watch but I don’t think Captain Swan wouldn’t have caught on as it did.

I know she wanted to find Rumple because she believed that she could save him. Her and Neal found a way and then it turned out they were tricked but Zelena.
Belle didn’t realize that at first, nor could she have foreseen what was going to happen but as soon as she found out that Lumiere was lying and what was really going on, she wanted to leave.
And if I remember correctly, Neal was the one who totally ignored the consequences and went ahead and frees his dad. And he wasn’t forced too. Neal made the choice to free Rumple and again, Zelena didn’t have to use magic on him to make it happen.
But bottom line Belle didn’t know what was going to happen and when she found out, she wanted to leave (sane and wise woman).
It would be great to have Red back but please, give her a decent storyline. I don’t want to see her only for a cameo or to babysit Henry. She can do more than that.

That’s a very good question. I think of the color of magic like a mood ring and in Regina’s case, I think as long as she tries to stay good and doesn’t revert to her Evil Queen ways to get her way, her magic will remain pure as well.

One thing hit me today as I was driving home from work… Imagine how awkward the dialogues regarding baby Snow are going to be from now on:
“I’m breastfeeding Neal.”
“Can you change Neal’s diaper, Emma?”
“Shhh, Neal is sleeping!”
Yeah. Those quotes alone spell all kinds of awkward.
I like that about us too. It’s healthy to be able to look at a scene and poke fun of it and at the same time analyze the hook out of it.
fyi, I am going to Las Vegas tomorrow for a one week vacation. I should be able still to view the forums since I’ll be bringing my Mac with me. And I’ll definitely have my iPhone with me. It rings when there’s a new post on the forums.

I agree with PoM. I don’t think they had Rumbelle married just so they could apply for a divorce right after.

Question: Did Phillip know about how Mulan felt for Aurora? I want to say he did for some reason? Or am I confusing him for Neal?
Unclear. Philip was only scene for a few moments at the start of S3, before Mulan made up her mind to tell Aurora everything.
I don’t think Phillip knew. Milan and Aurura did not meet until Phillip was free to go after Aurora.
I think Aurora/Mulan/Phillip love triangle would have been interesting to explore, especially since Mulan had feelings for Aurora but Aurura’s with Phillip.
