But it was still squee worthy when I watched the episode. I loved Hook having a man crush on himself. That had me laughing out loud the most.
I finally saw the finale and OMG, it was so beautiful, from start to finish. I loved seeing Killian and Emma in the Enchanted Forest, him teaching her how to dance at the ball was sweet, Emma finally coming to terms with everything in the room and then activating her magic. And Emma and Killian are in the book now!!!
Now I think it makes sense when that report came out that the Jolly Roger was being dismantled. It’s because we don’t need to see it anymore and Killian’s done with that part of his life.
It it also makes sense for his character arc too because he let go of his revenge and his first love and he gave up his home for a new home with Emma.

You’re right. I was very upset with Neal in the flashback in Quiet Minds, him completely ignoring the consequences until I realized, what he did was completely in character. He acts first and thinks about the consequences later, which for him, wasn’t a very smart move obviously because it cost him his life.
but looking back, I do feel Neal’s death was a natural progression of things. Look at him getting to Neverland. He was willing to use cutie Roland to get back to Emma without even considering a safer alternative.
How long and how hard did they honestly go through Rumple’s things before Roland showed up?
And it wasn’t out of character to push Hook away either because as Jennifer said, what happened with Walsh is what she’s used to. So when the truth came out about Hook’s curse, Emma reacted in a way that made sense-her walls came up. And her wanting to go back had less to do with Henry and more to do with her own security and happiness. She didn’t feel that she could be happy and safe in Storybrooke because of her role as the savior.
But Killian’s going to show her that she can be happy and have everything she’s always wanted.
The haters will always come up with ridiculous arguments, even if there’s canon facts out that contradict those facts. Like the argument that Hook is soft because he’s fallen with Emma. When Adam and Eddie said that Hook is not soft, he’s not a puppy dog and why is it alright for the haters to Hook soft when Rumple and Regina (two big villains from season one) also have their own true loves and are essentially redeemed as well? I don’t see anyone calling Rumple or Regina soft.
That’s why the hate and the double-standards honestly make me sick. I’ve been doing this fandom/’shipping thing for a long, LONG time but this is honestly the worst I have ever seen it.
