ParticipantI saw that. I don’t really pay attention that much to internet polls.
Posted a new ‘Hope’ meta! This one is for Dark Hollow. And new posts should come up continually until the winter finale meta is posted.

ParticipantJust thinking it to myself a bit and I’ve talked about it a couple time on tumblr. From everything that we’ve seen it seems like Hook is hardly ever not at Emma’s side, and if he’s not with her he’s with her son. Is it possible we may get our favorite couple together earlier in the season than we thought? Maybe not like ready to walk down the aisle or anything but maybe more couplely stuff than just fighting battles. Could they possible be together without acknowledging it? I mean in the first season Snowing was reunited early during that season as their cursed selves before being uncursed and reuniting once and for all. Maybe the writers will put to bed all this who’s she gonna be with stuff early and just move on to the rest of the story?
I have no doubt that the writers will resolve the so-called “love triangle” the media loves to hype up so much. I mean, look at we found out earlier this hiatus.
- Someone is going to die – we already know it’s Neal. That is literally killing the idea of a love triangle, not that it was a real one to begin with. It wasn’t.
- 3B is going to continue paralleling the first season of Once. Everyone was sent back to the EF in the winter finale and then, they were cursed again and sent back to or world. Storybrooke was re-created.
- The only one who knows about the curse and came to get Emma, is Hook. Henry came to find Emma to break the curse in season one and she did. Hook’s the only one who knows what the WW looks like and can help Emma towards breaking the curse.
- How to break the curse – is the next big question? Season one ended with TLK between Emma and Henry. Hook already tried that on Emma in the winter finale and understandably it didn’t work – but we know from recent history of cases where TLK doesn’t work with memory loss (Belle, Snow). There’s no reason to to think TLK won’t be visited later and as a possible solution to breaking the WW’s curse.
We have good stuff coming our way guys!

ParticipantThat would certainly be an interesting twist in the Oz story, the Wicked Witch best friends with the heroine of the story, Dorothy. That would be something.

Participant“There’s not a day will go by I won’t think of you.” “Good.”
What’s also wonderful, it’s the first time Emma has acknowledged Hook’s feelings. Openly. This is huge for Emma because she was starting to accept Hook’s feelings for her and that she’s alright feeling something for him. This is also Emma Swan and she doesn’t believe in giving someone false hope.
Emma takes baby steps towards accepting love in her life. It started with Henry, then Mary Margaret and then her mother’s love and then her parents as a unit. But after dealing with the issues she has with her parents, she’s in prime position now to accept romantic love into her life.
No worries. I’m fine now guys.

Because he doesn’t just love her, he wants to deserve herI agree with that wholeheartedly! And that’s a huge difference btw him and Neal. Neal doesn’t seem to even want to “try”, he just expects it to happen.
And when have we seen that True Love is easy? I think that’s been the whole message since season one, that true love is never easy. And no one should just expect for true love to just happen for them because they deserve it or have had a difficult life. The universe in general does not work this way.

ParticipantOkay, I’m really glad you posted first about that line because that was the one that I posted as one of my faves’ in the Best Lines thread.
The full line is:
But I also believe in good form. So when I win your heart, Emma…and I will win it… it will not be because of any trickery. It will be because you want me.
I think it’s already been established that Hook is reverting to the best version of himself since he brings up ‘good form’ again and fighting fairly. We saw glimpses of him fighting fairly in the past (like saving Aurora’s heart in Queen of Hearts), but I just feel, there’s so much here that’s generally overlooked.
Remember earlier on before the kiss, Hook wasn’t confident that Emma would love him. Remember how Charming taunted him about that? I don’t see him being presumptuous here but confident. There’s a difference. Confidence is good. And Hook knows Emma well enough that when she is ready to love him, she will.
He’s not cornering her into making a decision now. He’s stating that the choice will be hers to make and she will have to make a choice between Neal and Hook. I also do not see how what Hook says is any different than what Mary Margaret said to David when they were cursed, that David would have to make a choice between her and Katherine.
And lastly,
it will not be because of any trickery. It will be because you want me.
The trickery mention goes back to fighting fairly and good form. I love how Hook states upfront that he’s done with his old ways of getting what he wants. He’s going to do things the right way, he’s going to do right by Emma because it’s what best for her.
So, when she makes her decision, when she chooses him, loves him, wants him in her life or whatever, there will be no question about it. This will be her choice. It will be because she makes that decision.
