Here’s a better look of Regina’s dress from Hat Trick.
They look similar but it’s not the same dress. The sleeves look different around the wrists.

Here’s something else I thought of. Anyone familiar with the SyFy mini series Tin Man? The sisters theme was in there too. Except There was a witch and it possessed DG’s sister, and she became Evil.
I think it could plausibly go Wicked Sisters. We know Cora and Rumple had a relationship and obviously, some time was cut but they were together up until before she was married. Maybe Cora found herself pregnant with Rumple’s baby after Regina?
–Regina wanted the Ruby Slippers and tried to trade for them but the WWW wouldn’t give them to her so Regina poisoned her thinking it would kill her but instead it turned her green and evil.
Why would Regina want the ruby slippers? We know why Rumple needed them, so he could get to our land to find Bae but why would Regina need them?
Somehow, I have this head canon that Colin is a very good dancer even though I’ve never seen him dance.
It’s been pointed out before but Honey Crisp Apples are not true red apples. They have a bit of green on them. For full on red apples, try Red Delicious. I don’t know who did the research for that in season one, but the apples Regina tends to, are actually Red Delicious.
Granny Smith, are purely green though and if the research department messes up that on OUAT, there’s going to be BIG problems.
I’d love it we got a CS wedding by the end of the season, but I think a Rumbelle wedding is more likely. But I saw regardless of who’s wedding it is, there’s a chance we might get a Captain Swan dance.

My head canon for the WWW, it’s going to be a sad, tragic story (probably something to do with True Love) and this the director, gotta point that out again because he’s known for serious drama, it’s probably going to be a very tragic backstory for her.
Okay, I’d like to point out who is directing this episode. He’s a big name. Mario Van Peebles.
I think this is the Wicked of the Witch. That, or Kermit the Frog but probably The Wicked Witch of the West.
