ParticipantJust wondering if it’s “get” in the sense of “recognize and understand” rather than “receive”.
I think it’s both. I mean, villains often have a skewed perception of what they think is their happy ending and how to get it.
Regina thought her happy ending in season one would be enacting the curse and in doing so, she would be happy but after what was it three days–found she was miserable and alone. You can’t take your happy ending forcefully (that’s why it continues to grate on me whenever Lana says ‘she’s going to force the author’ in interviews).
You have to earn it and fight for it fairly.
Villains don’t get a happy ending because they go about trying to get it the wrong way.

ParticipantWow. A lot of great connections there.
For some reason though, I’ve been on board Emma dying and then being re-born train.
Although if she did, I love the idea of Henry writing her back into the story with a magic quill.

ParticipantThe plot just screams, ‘filler episode’. Question is, is it going to be worse than Enter the Dragon?

ParticipantSo does that mean Roland is really Zelena and Robin’s child?
I don’t think that’s what it means. I think Marian really existed. I think the Marian we saw in S2 episode Lacey was the real Marian. Remember how Marian was cursed while pregnant and Robin used the fairy wand to save her. Sadly, I think that she died soon after giving birth to Roland, since the fairy magic may have only been a temporary fix. I think Zelena simply then took her place by magically disguising herself as Marian and then hid amongst the villagers (unbeknownst to Robin) before she was taken prisoner by Regina’s guards, which was when time-traveling Emma saved her.
Ok.

I’d hate that Marian never existed but it would be easy fix-it for Outlaw Queen to be together.

Participant@TheWatcher got it. That is the issue here.

ParticipantRobin’s clothes, makes me think he is in the Emerald City. If Zelena is there….
He definitely is. He’s wearing the Oz guard outfit. You can tell by the “Oz” logo on the belt, and one photo shows the hat lying on the chair next to Robin.
That’s what I thought.

ParticipantAs for why they cast a latina as young Lily in the first place, they probably wanted a dark haired girl to parallel Regina during “Breaking Glass”, rather than casting her because Nicole Munoz is latina. But it doesn’t make sense when Maleficent is clearly not latina. Nicole Munoz appears to be a white latina, so the race thing might not have been accounted for when casting the adult Lily. I could buy Agnes Bruckner playing Maleficent’s daughter, but it’s harder to swallow that Nicole Munoz grew up to look like Agnes Bruckner. In the end, it was probably an oversight rather than blatant whitewashing. Doesn’t excuse it by any means, but sigh.
I agree.
