I started working on the Kindred Spirits section my True Love meta. I’m starting with CS. These are the bullet points I have so far.
- They’ve both suffered loss/know what it feels like to lose hope
- They mirror and compliment each other perfectly
- His love is selfless and means sacrifice/she’s making him want to be a better man
- They recognize each other as equals – “You’d make one hell of a pirate,”
- They do not need each other to survive or be awesome (not written yet)
- He believes in her abilities and supports her when she needs it (not written yet)
- “You’re something of an open book.”/ “You and I, we understand each other…”
- They choose each other/He loves her but everything is about her choice
Is there anything else I’m missing?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. This fandom, it’s like we share a psychic connection with each other. Every fanfic I have read, Killian and Emma have a baby girl together and it gives me heavy CS feels every single time. If we are heading for a CS baby one day, I hope Adam & Eddie make it a girl.
Hook does have a type — strong smart resourceful and worldly (for lack of a better word). Hook wants an equal. He doesn’t want an ingenue (like Belle when she first met the Dark one) or a sheltered pampered princess with no understanding of how hard the real world can be. Hook is confident on who he is and is not threatened by a strong woman. I don’t think whether or not the woman is mother matters to him.

Interesting. I thought it might be the death knell for Revenge and not even Syndication Gods could save it. I know it brings a fanbase with it, but I’m not sure that fanbase will follow.
I can’t. Will have to watch on hulu the next day or when I can.

I don’t think Wonderland will go beyond this single season. The best thing to do would be to bring the Knave over to Once (and perhaps Jafar and Red Queen too if possible). I hope they do finish airing Wonderland.
Adam and Eddie they only have story for one season 🙁 so, I hope they get to tell it all.
I love the idea of bringing the Knave back over to Once. First time we saw him, he was in Storybrooke anyway.

Lol! You know I can’t watch OUAT on Sunday. I also found out recently that ABC is moving Revenge to 10pm Sunday, so that’s going to change my life too. Lol.
I agree with you MysteryKat.
Captain Swan isn’t a phase to help Emma realize that she can only love Neal. The girl has expressed more than once that she wants to move on on with her life. I don’t see that as her running away from her feelings, she just doesn’t want her fears/emotions to control or dictate her anymore and they shouldn’t.
I also saw earlier that Hook has a type that he falls for, ‘mothers’ — and that just makes me want to bang my head against a wall. I don’t think he falls in love with mother’s on purpose.
I don’t think he fell in love with Milah because she was a mother. That’s not the reason why he fell in love with Emma either. The fact that Milah and Emma are both mothers, is something that is unique to their characters.
Now, if you we find out in a different backstory that Hook does have mommy issues, that’s a different argument altogether but we haven’t gotten that story yet and if it were a driving force for him falling in love with women who happened to be mothers, I think Adam and Eddie would have brought it up a LONG time ago.
