This could either be a career maker or a career breaker, depending on how cheesy the movie ends up being. If it’s actually done well, and received and reviewed well, then Jamie’s gonna get massive, positive press all over the world, which would be a big boost for his career. If it ends up being totally cheesy and horrible and gets reviewed really poorly, then the world’s media will be talking crap about him instead.
He’s totally capable of getting his gear off in front of a camera and having it be classy and HAWT instead of tacky, as anyone who’s seen his underwear model shots can attest to. But photos are different to live action, and I haven’t read the books, but I imagine there’s a risk of the dialogue coming across as rather tacky in the movie.

I’ve heard so much about 50 Shades of Gray and I’m honestly fascinated how it has roots in fanfiction of all places. I plan to see it with my girlfriends when it comes out.

Nope. 8 pages is not enough. I have so many thoughts about this and keep coming up with new ideas and observations.
Like this morning, I was reminded of Prince Charming’s quote about True Love from What Happened to Frederick:

– Prince Charming in “What Happened to Frederick” (1×13).And I realized, we’ve heard it twice now in two separate teaser trailers for Once Upon a Time.
The first one was “Timeless” which featured CS as a timeless romance.
Then, we heard it again during the Official season 3 promo.
And the season 3 promo is not about finding true love. It highlights how these unlikely heroes come together for a common cause: to find Henry.
And yes, Captain Swan share their first kiss together in a timeless land.

I’m tracking a lot of tags on tumblr and just noticed, there’s finally one for that kiss. .
I started writing my really long meta/essay thing on types of love on Once Upon a Time. I have eight pages now.
And I was searching for something else totally unrelated and came across this study. That rekindling a relationship with an old flame often extinguishes a couple’s happiness. In relation to Once Upon a Time and Emma, if she gets back together with him it will cause more heartache and end in badness.
I’m going save my essay/meta for the end for close to the end of the season. Need more material.
I feel like the odd person out. I’m not worried about Prince Charming. Do you think maybe I should be?

Let me tell you what this kiss was not:
1. It was not about comfort
2. It was not a thank you, despite the implication
3. It was not because Emma was vulnerable
4. It was not Emma hanging on to Neal’s ghost (I’ve seen that and it just makes me lol because she is not thinking about anything there apart from Killian)
This kiss was:
1. Passion
2. Challenge
3. Fireworks
4. Unexpected
5. Emotional (towards the end anyway)
6. And absolutely amazing to both of them
7. WILL BE REPEATED EVEN THOUGH NEAL WILL BE BACK IN 3X06 OR SO
I cannot get over how stunned Killian was that she called his bluff. I just can’t. He was so shocked – and he’s realising now that he’s falling in love with her, as we predicted he would. Naturally Emma is behind, but when you look at all the shots of her in that scene, she is not holding her feelings back whatsoever, and they’re clearly shining on her face.
I was expecting their first kiss to be EXACTLY this way. Raw and passionate and emotional. Because that’s who they are. They aren’t sweet Snowing. They never will be.

Also, Jen tweeted this back in September. I don’t know if it coincides with the filming on 3×05 but I think it does.

I’d also like to add Snowing (OUAT) and Han & Leia were couples who didn’t start out liking each other. All Leia could do with Han during the first two movies was fight with him and Snow didn’t like Charming when she first met him either in Snow Falls. And yet both couples ended up together in the end.
