I wouldn’t be surprised if they come back to SB at 8:15. It’s a nice parallel to the season opening with Emma giving birth at 8:15. 301: Henry enters the world at 8:15 311: Henry and family return to SB at 8:15

Henry couldn’t figure out who Mr. Gold was but Rumple was in the book–Cinderella’s story, for example, we know is in the book because Henry knew about the enchanted quill incident. Henry just couldn’t connect the dots and I suspect it’s because Rumple’s NAME isn’t in the book. I don’t think they ever name “The Dark One” or Baelfire’s father.
