I don’t agree. That sword had a very long blade.
There’s also something called a ‘short pirate sword.’ If you google it, the hilt tends to be very decorative and fancy but I think they’re used for fighting close-up. I wouldn’t call the blade long in the instagram photo, especially since part of is it is covered by the tree.
other observations: Emma’s wearing the same blouse in the second image. It has to be a short sword.

The only exception to that would be if Emma asked him to step aside and (he’d probably fight it at first) but stop pursuing her if being with Neal is what she wants.
Baelfire couldn’t be on The Jolly Roger for more than a week. Hook probably cared for him and genuinely wanted to be some kind of father figure for him but that didn’t happen b/c Bae rejected him and Hook was forced to turn him over to Peter Pan. But both of them were bonded through Milah. so they do have a relationship in a way.
I saw this last on tumblr and loved it so I could post it here when I had the chance.
until we get a better view of what type of sword, Emma’s holding, this is all speculation. the sword is probably not the long one he carries with him but a short sword.
Wow. What’s about funny about Emilie’s tweet about her favorite book right now, my boyfriend and I were just discussing 50 Shades of Gray because they cast the leads like a day ago and I mentioned that some lady did a study on the book.
