ParticipantI’m going to try and be optimistic. 3B was Regina’s arc with the Wicked Witch but the two hour season finale was all about Emma. So, I’m going to try and be hopeful that Emma will get her fair share of story in the season 4 finale.

ParticipantYeah, it makes sense we get see more of the Merry Men, the Sheriff and stuff. It is Operation Mongoose which is Regina’s arc. I just hope Emma’s story isn’t forgotten in the background.

ParticipantInteresting theory @sci_fi_girl
Before this season, I remember theorizing that there was NO author. The curse itself created Henry’s fairytale book. It’s kind of similar to this.

ParticipantThe tweet I posted is dated today though.

ParticipantYeah, 422 is most likely “Operation Mongoose Part 2,” but I have seen a t.v. show give the “Part 2″ of a two-parter episode a different title for some reason.
Example, Dawson’s Creek series finale.
Part one, All Good Things…
Part Two, Must Come to an End.
I wouldn’t assume Part Two of Once is also called ‘Operation Mongoose’. The only time that’s happened this season is Smash the Mirror. But that doesn’t mean the season finale will be that way too.

ParticipantI’m not sure if the Sorcerer is the the First Dark One

ParticipantThe way I think of it, the Author and the Sorcerer may not be aware of each other’s existence. Or if they are, it could be like in the movie Hitchcock, where the closer they are to each other, the more they end up hurting each other. There’s a reason they can’t be together right now.
Or go the Buffy route, where the Author and the Sorcerer share the same body but have no idea about the other, or to conceal that the Author and the Sorcerer are the same person, once the author is revealed, everyone else in the room forgets what just happened.

ParticipantI think the wording is important too. Killian would never intentionally hurt her, so he’s going to try his hardest to not let her down on that promise. Of course, there’s going to be mistakes along the way. No one is perfect but intent is what’s important here.
That’s why I think Snowing’s secret is going to hurt Emma more than Killian’s dark past because their secret directly affects Emma. And this was the same problem with Neal and Ingrid and Lily. All of their secrets directly affected Emma, one way or another. Hook’s secret has nothing to do with Emma, it’s just more about his past; which Emma knows wasn’t all rainbows and sunshine and it has nothing to do with her. Emma also knows how far Killian’s come to and that he isn’t that person anymore.
It’s sort of a fulfilling prophecy in a way. Snowing wants to hide their dark secret from Emma, it ends up causing more harm to Emma than they wanted (and probably what causes to cross over to the Dark side of the Force…sorry, wrong fandom but seriously could not resist).
