ParticipantI don’t know. There’s speculation maybe we’ll get another Emma backstory although it would be cool if it somehow parallels Tinkerbell’s story too.

ParticipantThe Red Queen used magic to “kill” Cyrus.
It’s like seeing Jedi from Star Wars force push people.

ParticipantHow many times does Adam have to keep telling distraught RumBellers that Belle isn’t going anywhere? lol Some of them almost seem to enjoy being miserable. Me- I’m a RumBeller with a lot of faith.
I can’t blame them. Rumbelle are reunited, something separates them, they’re back together and then they separate again (rinse, dry and repeat). That was basically the premise of their story last season.

ParticipantThere’s a literary tradition of making it be a choice, the romeo/juliet thing, and there’s a touch of it in many of the love stories in OUAT. Cora doesn’t want Regina and Daniel together. Belle’s father doesn’t understand about Rumpel. King George’s attitude toward Snow (or even Jack, though that wasn’t even love for James). There’s other examples though, as Ruth accepted Snow. Thomas’ family welcomed Cinderella in FTL (though they were against her in cursed SB).
Oooh, I like that observation. If they introduce Ariel and there’s a rivalry between mermaids and humans and Eric and Ariel are caught in the middle of it.

ParticipantI was thinking the other day about the curse of the mermaids and souls. What if the curse of the mermaids meant, if you were a human and accidentally touched a mermaid or became ensnared by one, you lost your soul?
Let’s face it.
Neverland has already been introduced as a place you don’t want to be and from Hook, we already know that the mermaids are deadly creatures.
The problem I have with my own theory though, is that I love The Little Mermaid so much, it’s my favorite Disney story and I don’t want to end up hating my favorite Disney character if she turns out be a soulless mermaid.
Also, I’m not sure how I would feel about Regina also being Ursula. This is Once, they’ve meshed characters before but I would actually like Ursula to be her own character.

Participant@caneofmrgold Belle is a series regular. We love her. And adore Emilie. Please expect to see her throughout the season.

ParticipantTom Welling does look like Prince Eric, doesn’t he??
I know right? He would be perfect for the role.
I get the feeling they are going to cast Ariel as younger than a “mother” but closer to the rest of the gang. I have no evidence to support this.
yeah, most likely they will.

ParticipantI’ve seen Little Mermaid be tossed around as the LBGT storyline. While I totally ship Hookriel, they could very easily make Prince Eric into Princess Erica and still keep most of the Anderson/Disney story.
but I like the idea of Tom Welling as Prince Eric. 🙁
One of my favorite theories, although probably isn’t likely to happen now given spoilers was that Ariel was Hook’s bio-mom. which would have made Eric his dad.
