What’s fascinating to me is that I and others sometimes see the same picture as black and blue, and other times gold and white.
I don’t know how to explain that either. When my boyfriend asked me, I think I said blue and gold. And he saw something else. And we were both looking at his iphone.

Day 28- Future Plotlines you’d like to see — I look forward to seeing more of Emma and Killian’s growth, the battles they face together, finding their happy ending together, realizing their love for each other, all the kisses, hugs, “Coffee,” a certain magical smooch, babies and more adventures together.

I was confused by that phrasing too. Like I thought we were supposed to seeing Regina evolve? Again in a different interview, Lana justified, well, if it’s killing for the greater good, that’s okay. Is Regina bad now or is she teetering on being evil but she’s good too?
I think Regina has changed a lot but in some ways, she hasn’t. It’s true, she’s more contemplative. But her knee-jerk reaction to Marian returning was find a way to kill her so she could get happy ending and the whole idea of finding the author of the book, stemmed from ‘forcing’ him to give her a happy ending. And when you say ‘force’ someone to do something that you want, generally speaking, that has a negative connotation and knowing Regina, ‘forcing’ the author could mean a number of things given her background.
I’m not sure if she’s remorseful at all for everything that she’s done. Heck, she even admitted to Pan that she has no regrets because everything she did, got her Henry.
So to include to that list, she doesn’t regret casting the curse, doesn’t regret murdering her father to cast said curse, doesn’t regret using and abusing Graham, she doesn’t regret tearing Emma away from her parents…the list goes on and on.
I’d like for Regina to at least acknowledge that she is responsible for screwing up most of Emma’s life (seeing as how they’re going to become BFF’s in 4B), but it’s not likely to happen.
Regina always wants a ‘quick’ happy ending. That was the purpose of the original dark curse because she wanted a happy ending now and screw everyone and theirs. Now she feels that a happy ending is somehow owed to her or that she is entitled to one (which I have a lot of issues with because she’s not even addressing the previous issues). Finding the author is instant gratification for Regina. It’s about what she wants now and who cares about whatever consequences (if there any), you worry about that later.
No one is owed or entitled to anything on this show. Adam and Eddy have said, happy endings are subjective. They’re different for everyone because everyone’s story is different.
I do think Adam and Eddy wrote themselves into a corner with the whole ‘bringing back Marian’ and then her not even being physically present for most of 4A. In my mind, I was hoping that she would have been around for longer but instead, they made her a popsicle and a plot device to see how much Regina has changed (which could have done other ways).
