ParticipantWelcome Lara 😀 I went to Madrid last September.

ParticipantI always thought of OUAT’s Belle as being the daughter of a Duke or something. and I think Duke’s were equivalent to mayors. They oversaw a piece of land that was their territory, much the same way mayorships work. (someone correct me if I’m wrong).
I like your idea Chimera if our characters bringing the best part of our world back to theirs. Like tacos. 😆

ParticipantJudging from the cover, the comic was LONG before the movie sequels. I haven’t seen the sequels. The only Disney sequel I’ve seen is the Little Mermaid II. It was okay but definitely not my favorite.

I don’t think anyone has said Henry was a bad guy–I just said his father didn’t think much of him.
oh ok.

I do wonder why Cora decided to take him to Wonderland and imprison him. Was it a punishment? Had he done something specific to upset her? Was she just showing her power and belittling a symbol from her old Kingdom as she rose to power in the new one?
Hmm. The only thing I can of think is that Cora wanted Regina to suffer for banishing her and what better way to do that than to take away the thing that she loved the most? Her father.

ParticipantI’d also like to add: it’s not like Henry is a bad son from what we saw in The Miller’s Daughter. He seems like a decent guy when we meet him. Maybe it’s because he’s not cold like his father, but I feel like maybe there is some unresolved tension there that we don’t know about.
Like Henry is the spare child that Xavier wasn’t excited about becoming King one day. But why not? If that story is ever revisited, I hope they touch on the relationship there.
I love the Rafiki reference to Cora holding baby Regina and presenting her to the kingdom. It is awesome 😆 😆 😆 That fanvid will forever be seared into my mind that Cora is Rafiki.

ParticipantI just learned about this today but apparently, there was a Disney Cinderella comic detailing what her ever after was like after she married the prince. Seriously. It was not great.
Cinderella stayed at the castle cleaning and doing house work while the Prince went off on prince adventures. so basically, she was doing the same job that she previously had as a maid for her step mother and step sisters..
I did a quick google search and found it here.

When he got smashed in the dream sequence last week, I saw posts from people who were *glad*! That is just messed up!
I don’t see anyone can be glad when a child dies on a show (even in a dream sequence). That is just wrong, I agree. It’s also really extreme too. It is really unfair and unfortunate people hate Henry. Yes, sometimes he can be annoying but clamoring for his death just makes me ill inside.
Can we please switch the subject? Don’t want to feel sick thinking about how people want a kid to die on this show.

Even if children generally aren't a line for him, if he finds out that Henry is still Milah's grandson, that might trigger something in him.
I like that.

Participantomg, when I was younger, I collected Wonder Woman comics and I still have some. they’re not in the best condition but I still have them. they’re also not in order too. I think when I went to the comic book store, I did the ‘judge a book by its cover’ thing and picked out the ones with the best graphics. but oddly enough, I still ended up with three comics in consecutive order so… 😆
I also have a German Star Wars I think original trilogy prequel before the movie prequels comic book. I don’t know German, so it’s sitting in my closet.
ad I did have a Wonder Woman issue 1 originally but again, it wasn’t in the best condition and I accidentally tossed it one day. still kicking myself over that one.
I don’t even read the New 52 but I do skim comic book reviews of Wonder Woman and boy, she is not the same warrior princess anymore. it’s really disappointing to see how the writers have just rewritten her history.
my brother is a LOT more organized than me when it comes to his comics. He has a long white box (it used to sit in his closet but I don’t know where it is now). anyway, he kept them by hero genre I think.
May 4th is also Star Wars Day. May the Fourth be with you 😆 😆

ParticipantIt’s tricky when judging kid actors. A lot of the times, I think it is the writing. When the writing is really good, I have no problem with him. I think it’s still too early to call him a bad actor or anything like that. If the series runs long enough, he’ll be able to mature in his craft and get better.
but I understand when Henry’s being mean (especially to Emma), you just want to cry or something. b/c I’m with a lot of people, when he was being mean and snotty to Emma, I just wanted to tell him to back off.
