In the Name of the Brother was an okay episode. I wouldn’t call it an awesome episode though, so I understand if that one was low.
It’s a tiny black spot. I hope it can be reversed. It wouldn’t be terribly horrible if it weren’t — all characters need flaws in them – even the heroes but still.
That’s a good point about what caused the black spot.
What’s interesting is that we know Cora did a LOT of bad things and yet, when we saw her heart, it wasn’t blackened. I’m wondering if that was an editing mistake or maybe it was because her heart wasn’t in her body. Like the heart has to be inside your body in order for it be blackened.
Now that I think about it, it would be interesting to see what Regina’s heart looks like. When you think about what’s she gone through this year, from being evil last year to trying to change for Henry, to being manipulated by her mom and then going all 👿 😈 once Cora died, what does her heart look like now? Is it all black, semi-black?
Also, just because MM has a tiny black of her heart, can it be reversed, if she does good deeds? Sort of like the good outweighing the bad?
This is actually a very tricky subject.
I wouldn’t necessarily label MM as a villain because she’s the reason someone died (who by the way was a villain herself). I don’t see her having a lust for killing after what happened, or continuing to manipule people like Regina or Gold.
We all knew Cora was a threat to Storybrooke and to everyone else. It was a situation that never was going to end well. Even if Cora was given her heart and still wasn’t killed, there’s no guarantee she wouldn’t turn dark later.
Does that make MM a bad person? She was protecting her family. She might have been motivated by the revelation that Cora was responsible for her mother’s death but I think, deep down, she didn’t want to see anyone else she loved die at her hands too.
I think the problem has been that there’s been too many hiatuses this season. We have another hiatus coming up after this week’s episode and that one will be 3 weeks I believe.
I think it would make sense if Neal was a Lost Boy because he became an orphan as soon as he was sucked into the portal.
I’m hoping if Peter Pan shows up later, he is neither Bae or Hook but someone else entirely different.
