Thank goodness you all don’t watch soap operas. You’d be like – WHAT? Because relationships on soaps can get very complicated via marriage. the relationships on Once (at least for now) are not that complicated to follow.
I like that they said that the spin off would be its own monster separate from Once. That makes things less complicated.
I hadn’t thought that first season took place in a couple of months. We saw the seasons change and time move forward. We saw our characters celebrating Valentine’s Day.
Second seasons’ are always going to be tricky. It’ll make or break a show.
With Emma and Snow stuck in the Enchanted Forest, it reminded me of Hiro Nakamura in season 2 of Heroes (except he was stuck in the past) but it was good for Emma to see where she came from and get much needed bonding time with Mary Margaret.
One thing I notice with season, storylines are wrapped up quicker than in season 1. It didn’t take us long to know that Archie was all right, they didn’t drag out whether out Neal with Baelfire.

Looks like we will get another special recap episode for the season before the viewing the last three episodes of the season. Might even get new clips in there.
