ParticipantI think Henry is the prophecised boy. I was worried in FT land when Rumpel said that he would kill the boy, because that would mean that he would kill Henry in Storybrooke just to maintain his power. And this would be the second time that Henry’s life was on the line.
But no, I think the prophecy means that Rumpel will gain his redemption through Henry and maybe like Emma, Henry has a super power too.

I believe that Rumple’s undoing doesn’t mean destruction as in death. I think it means undoing as in reverting back to his real self, pre Dark One days. In my mind, I think Rumple will end up sacrificing himself for the sake of young Henry. Interesting that they made Rumple the Beast, who in the real story, dies and is transformed and resurrected by Belle. In Narnia, we see the White Witch use a dagger to kill Aslan who had sacrificed himself for the Narnians. The story of giving up one’s life in sacrifice holds no copyright because it’s the oldest and truest story ever told . So I would hope that we will see Rumple give the ultimate sacrifice, his life for Henry’s, and in turn we see the Dark One die, dagger is shattered and the real Rumple is saved, transformed and resurrected just as the Beast was.
I think this is the most likely scenario imo….I think that Gold’s bonding with Henry before the showdown with Nealfire was the first step in Rumple developing a true love for his grandson which will eventually motivate him to give his life for Henry. But I guess the Charmings would then have to rely solely on the BF and Emma in any future battles…unless we get some sort of amazing transformation and Rumple all of a sudden can do good magic.
I think this is likely too.

Well, not all of Rumple’s power now comes from having been the Dark One. He may have had the ability to take the Seer’s powers because he was the Dark One, but it’s not a Dark One ability. It’s possible that some of his other abilities were similarly acquired. Will these go away if his Dark One curse is removed?
Since seeing the future isn’t an original DO ability, I would assume if Rumpel lost his Dark One powers, he would still be able to keep that ability.

ParticipantI want to go to Stevenson one day with my girlfriends, walk into that ice cream shop and say, ‘I want to sample Gold.” 😆 Hopefully by then, Hook will have his own ice cream flavor too.

Rumple gets imprisoned renegotiating his deal with Cinderella (see 1×04)
Maleficent got the Dark curse from Regina as a trade for something else YEARS before that.
And between Snow and Charmings wedding and when the curse finally grabs hold is AT LEAST 9 months… seeing a certain someone needs to get born. Not so confusing, you just need to keep up 😆 I think there is a youtube movie called “All the Regina’s” or “All the Evil Queens” that is put in chronological order.
Actually, there is but right now, it only has all the Regina’s in FT from season one. I’m sure a season two will be made once all the episodes have aired.
