Reviews, theories, and talk about ABC's Once Upon a Time TV show
As soon as I saw new actor casted, the name didn’t ring a bell until I saw his picture. I remember him from Sweet Home Alabama.
Maybe he’s a journalist or something.
I think if people just have a need to procure or find things, they go to him. I don’t think he has loyalty to anyone except for maybe himself.
I didn’t catch that he didn’t use a cane and on the bed buddies 😀 Rumpel does not waste time. 😆
Wow, awesome catch.
Welcome Tiago 🙂
I think, it was revealed at the end of episode 2 that Regina adopted Henry when he was two weeks old.
I was expecting to see The Lady of the Lake in the Lady of the Lake episode, not even thinking the title actually referred to Lancelot who’s surname Du Lac or whatever means Lake but it would be a very cool twist if Ariel turned out to be the Lady of the Lake. Adam & Eddie are really good at mixing up and intertwining these characters stories in a way that make sense.
Or maybe Guinevere was the Lady of the Lake and became human and married Arthur, much to Lancelot's dismay and he tried to woe her away from Arthur which would keep in line with the Arthur/Lancelot/Guin love triangle.
Interesting articles. First time I’ve seen Rumpel referred to as a Byronic Hero, which is a term I never knew about until seeing your post. I wrote a similar post earlier on last season after watching Desperate Souls about Rumpel being the Tragic Hero. But the way he’s described in the first article makes a lot sense considering his character.
His story could still follow parts of the tragic hero journey as well.
Good question. I think the town is still enchanted which might protect them from aging.
I agree with slurpeez.
