For it to work, it needs to go both ways. The evil queen says so in “skin deep”.
The “I love you” said by prince Philip, was meant to be ambiguous… I just took it as “I love you” (sexy love) to Aurora and “I love you” (brother type love) to Mulan.
I agree.

ParticipantThis was the intro text from the pilot.

The fact that not ‘all’ characters from the enchanted forest didn’t end up in Storybrooke and some survived, living in FT land changes that title card sequence.
Just has a thought, maybe that small piece of land was spared from the curse — in the event the Charmings and the Storybrooke residents ever made it back to fairytale land, they could use magic to help rebuild their home. But you can’t rebuild starting from nothing.

ParticipantMy boyfriend and I actually had a very interesting discussion about this last night. There are different grades of evil and the one evil, we haven’t truly seen on this sure, is evil to the core. Regina is evil but she didn’t start out that way. She was good and became evil later, but we haven’t really seen a character who is ALL out evil. Not even one speck of good.
With that being said, Regina might be redeemable but I don’t want to see it happen right away. That to me, would be a cop out. Like oh, she killed her dad to create the dark curse and now, she’s siding with good because she wants to be a better person? There has to be a gradual change to want to be good. It can’t happen within one season. I will be very disappointed in the writers if they do that.
I don’t think Rumple is either. He’s done bad things but if you think about why he does all these things, they all happen for a reason. I think he created the Dark Curse for Bae, to come and find him in our world but taking down Regina in the process, was icing on the cake. I think Rumpel can change, with Belle’s help and guidance. Like on mentioned one time on the podcast, she’ll be his conscious and I still believe that be her role this season: to keep him from giving into his dark side.
Henry could be that vessel for Regina but she has to really want to change, not just to gain Henry’s trust and hey, I’m still evil.

ParticipantI hadn’t thought of melting. That would probably work too if it’s protected by magic.
It’s still a metal. 😆

ParticipantIt would be interesting if this guy and the guy in the premiere, both, started vying for Emma’s affection. 😆

ParticipantI think all you need to do is probably smash the medallion and it frees the souls and kills the wraiths.

ParticipantIf Baelfire does turn out to be Henry’s dad, Henry’s going to need a lot of counseling from Archie.
I mean, that would make Rumpelstiltskin, Henry’s other grandfather. 😆 Which would be so funny. But I like the idea. I think Rumpel/Mr. Gold would make a great grand father and Belle would spoil Henry so much too.

ParticipantOr maybe August sent the post card while he could write it, prior to the curse breaking? If you look at the writing, it does look kind of strained, like August could have been struggling (and probably was writing it).

Other plot holes:
– Mulan accuses Emma and Snow of being responsible for bringing the Wrath that killed Phillip. However, the Wrath attacked them in FTL BEFORE Rumple summoned it to Storybrooke.
– If there was only one Wrath (as the SB and FTL stories were happening concurrently) how did both Rumple AND Aurora have the Wrath’s medallion?
I think Mulan said that Emma and Snow were responsible for killing her prince, not Phillip. I mean, Phillip was already gone at that point.
I was questioning that too, if the wraith in the real world was the same as the one in FT world. There also could have been more than one. It wouldn’t be scary if there was just one. 3 or 4 more wraiths flying around, stealing people’s souls? That’s scary.
