He then needed Charming to put the remaining potion in the belly of the beast to protect the rest for the coming battle. He needed Snow and Charming to come together and conceive the Savior who could one day break the curse. He knew everything that he was doing.

Unfortunately not. We found about that one after the fact. But we got to see Lindenhoff since it was packaged with Neuschwanstein day tour we purchased.
Maybe you guys can clear something up for me. It hasn’t been talked about on the podcast. In one of the sneak peaks for ‘An Apple as Red as Blood’ Regina taunts Jefferson that he doesn’t have it in him to kill her. She also says if she’s dead, Jefferson will never be reunited with his daughter.
Regina repeats the same taunt again in the finale when he goes to see her at the hospital.
But what bothers me, is why killing Regina would prevent Jefferson from reuniting with Grace? I can understand if Regina killed Emma, then the curse would be broken.

I re-watched ‘Skin Deep’ again.

Gold said so himself in episode 2, The Thing that You Love the Most. Here’s the clip. If you scrub to around 0:59, that’s when it comes out about ‘the deal.’ And Gold teases Regina about which deal she is alluding too.
