Mirror, mirror on Twitter, prepare for the return of another guest star! OK, that didn’t really rhyme, but we tried. A guest star we previously only met in the fairy-tale world will be returning before season’s end and this time, we’ll be meeting their Storybrooke counterpart as well. Warning: Prepare yourselves for a pretty big twist.

part 1, part 2,part 3 *part 3 is not audio 🙁I love Once’s take on the Beauty and the Beast story. I think it was brilliant, and making Rumpel the ‘figurative’ beast was awesome. Rumbelle when you think about, is the anti-superficial pairing. Prince Charming is great but making Rumpel the beast, shows you don’t have to be as perfect as Charming to get the girl.
I would be fine with a big brother/little sister relationship. Anything romantic would just be weird.

In many aspects, I find their romance more tragic and beautiful than Snow and Charming’s. There’s a strong undercurrent of death and tragedy that makes this couple particularly heartbreaking. I hope nothing happens to Belle. He’s going to need both Belle and Baelfire to bring him back into the light and return him to the gentle loving man he once was. Knowing Regina, she’s probably done something to ensure Belle knows who Rumpel/Gold is, memory or not. Belle is either Regina’s insurance to keep him in check or an attack plan should he decide to outright go against her. I’m pretty sure Regina’s interactions with Belle in the psych ward consist of more than just looking through the peep hole, especially if Regina’s the only one who has visited her.
I forget whose theory it was, but it would make sense that Belle does remember FT and would probably recognize who Mr. Gold is if she met him again. But I think it would be interesting if she partially remembered, leaving it open for Gold to possible rewrite their happy ending or create a new happy ending for them in Storybrooke.
FYI, since I became hooked on rumbelle, I’ve been reading a lot of rumbelle fanfiction, so I created a “favorite rumpbelle fanfiction master list” which I will post here once I fix the html coding.
