ParticipantI have read but we haven’t seen a power transference like that on the show, so I’m inclined to think that Regina asked her mother to teach her and then, lock her up for killing Daniel.
correction: I forgot about the Dark One. but I don’t think Cora started out with all that power. She learned it.

After viewing the promo for “The Return” I’m convinced Lissy is right: August is Bae. He’s the only one, I think, who could strike such fear in Gold: if anyone else threatened him, Gold would fight back, but he wouldn’t fight Bae…who, Gold may think, would kill him to free him from the curse.
I agree.

Oh, how interesting! I wonder if Rumpelstiltskin was giving his dagger to Baelfire, or simply showing it to him. Hmmm…
if Rumpel is giving Baelfire the dagger and August has the dagger in the promo — I think that makes it pretty obvious about who the Stranger really is.

Regina tries to seduce David
LOL, I’m sooo looking forward to this now! As if she’ll succeed. Yes, David’s IQ is rather low in comparison with Charmings, but come ON, he can’t be that dumb. Or can he? Hmmmm … Then again, it will be fun to watch it, however it plays out. If the spoiler is correct, anyway.
Wonder what kind of journey that is … Maybe he’ll tell her some stories?
Not only that, that’s a pretty 👿 thing to do to her “supposed” friend, Kathrine: try and seduce her husband.

Maybe what we have assumed (jealousy.. etc) is actually what SW thinks.
I think you’re right. Snow believes that her father’s love for her is the reason Regina hates her so much. Regina would’ve never confided in Snow again after this event. And who else could have told Snow about what happened to Daniel? No, I think she remains ignorant to this day. She knows she’s the cause for Regina’s pain, but doesn’t quite no the real reason.
I totally agree. I doubt Regina took her aside after that and told her the truth about what really happened. I don’t even think Snow’s father knew.

When she shows Katherine the photos of MM and David having an affair, they are at her finger tips and not hidden away.
I do remember from that episode that Regina didn’t really have to search much since they were just lying on her desk. 😆
Regina is so confident and sure of herself, that she has no reason to hide anything in her office. Not many people sneak in there (except for maybe Emma).

I know some might disagree with me, but I went back to both scenes many times and the scene where Snow is reaching up to touch Cora’s orchids (not apple tree) when Cora walks in on her is the exact picture Henry was looking at in the book at the beginning of ‘Hat Trick.’ I am 100% positive.
Everyone thought she was reaching for a locket but it is actually an unopened bud that looks like the shape of a heart that is confusing.
Henry looks so confused when he is reading this story. We have to wonder what is throwing him off. Is it the tender hearted Regina he sees in the story? Is it that he always thought, like we did, that Regina hated Snow because she was the “fairest in the land” not because of this new revelation? Is he puzzled by Cora?
Is it? 😯 Wow. That would be something if little Snow is “Alice.”

The problem is that without a dead body, there’s no murder case.
Pretty much 😆 😆 But you know what? We never saw a body this entire time and I can’t believe I didn’t think about this until now, but it’s typically the case in soap operas, if you don’t see a body then there’s always a pretty good chance the character could come back later (unless the body is a mannequin). 😆 😆

I feel that the whole ankle incident is important. I’m not sure what it could mean, but the one thing I noticed is that August didn’t get any closer to the hole in which Emma found the chipped part of the shovel. One theory I would like to toss into the theory hat would be this: Perhaps that location is on the border of Storybrooke, and every one of the Fairy Tale Land characters (besides Emma and Henry, of course) physically cannot leave the boundaries of Storybrooke. And the scene we saw of August tripping was him hitting the invisible border/barrier and he could travel no further. It’s just a far-out theory I have, and I believe there is actually a hole in the theory if you look close enough, but I won’t mention that just yet.
Ah, I like that theory. But wait, Ruby found the box around there and she didn’t trip or get hurt.

The real draw here was the guest stars. One of the strengths of this show is getting great guest stars, especially when we might not see any of the actors from the flashback again. They carried their weight well and delivered.
In particular, Bailee Madison did a great job as the younger version of Snow White. Child actors are very hit or miss and she hit all the marks and stood her ground with some very accomplished actors. It’s unlikely that we’ll see her again on this show, but I look forward to seeing her on other projects.
I totally agree. She was amazing as little Snow.

It was lovely. Most people would figure out just by watching the past episodes what happened between Snow and Regina, but I was satisfied and learned one new detail. That Snow was misguided and only wanted to help. That’s why she revealed the secret.
Exactly. There was nothing malicious behind Snow telling Cora about Daniel. She only wanted to help. It was Cora who was doing the manipulating and Regina, knowing how her mother works, should have realized that little Snow was innocent. I mean, god, Regina saw her mother reach into Daniel’s chest and pull his heart out 😯
