ParticipantI thought of ‘Cupid’s arrow’ too. 😀 especially when Rumps said that the arrow never misses its target. 😆

There is a theory floating around that maybe Regina’s mother is the millers daughter that the original Rumpel story is about. That would make Regina’s mother queen and then Regina a princess. That would make Regina the child that Rumpel took or was supposed to take. I am not really sure about that story. That could explain their relationship. Maybe Rumpel taught the queen her magic.
I’ve always believed that Rumpelstiltskin was the one who gave Regina her power. I doubt she was born a witch and I’m pretty sure she’s human (hopefully). And I really like the theory of Regina’s mother being the Miller’s daughter. So, if we’re going to listen to that theory, then Regina’s rivalry with Rumpel was not something that she started, it was something her mother started. Looks like we have a multi-generational rivalry on our hands. 😯 😯 😯
That’s interesting. Maybe Cora killed Snow’s mother to ensure that the King would be looking for a new wife to play mother to his daughter?

I think it’s interesting that in episode 2, Regina says to her father, Henry Sr:
Regina: But I can’t keep living like this. What Snow did to me, what she took from me. It’s eating me alive, Daddy. Her very existence mocks me. She must be punished.
Henry Sr: But, if the price is a hole that will never be filled, why do it? Stop worrying about Snow White, and start over. We can have a new life.
Regina: What kind of life? All I’ve worked for, all I’ve built will be gone. My power will disappear. They already think I’m nothing. How is it that not enacting the curse would cause Regina’s power to disappear? Her power must be something that she gained, and not something she was born with. It’s still not at all clear what her back story is, except to say that her mother, Cora, may have taught her magic.
I get that feeling too, or maybe Regina resisted her mother’s influence at first until she finally gave in and realized that the only ‘true power’ was ‘dark magic.’ Kind of like Anakin in Revenge of the Sith.

Possibly something to do with breaking the dark curse? Possibly ridding the world of the dark magic?
I definitely think the bottled “true love” has something to do with breaking the curse but ridding the world of dark magic? 😯 That would definitely “take care” of the Evil Queen.

Favorite moment was Red looking at the moon, telling James to flee, and taking off her cloak. Did you see those glowing eyes? She has obviously at this point accepted who she is.
That was awesome. I almost wanted James to turn around briefly to sneak a peak about what she planned to do and go “Whoa!” and then keep running.

Also loved the MM/Emma have faith in me scene. Very touching.
That was beautiful.

I love Josh Dallas, but can we all agree that David just may be the dumbest man to ever set foot on the planet???
Yes. 😆

“You must be guilty because I have a very clear memory of you in the forest with hair extensions, wearing leather men’s hunting attire, and packing a bow and arrow. I realize I’ve recently suffered a head injury and am having unexplained periods of memory loss but so far THAT’S the explanation that makes the most sense to me.” My favorite part of this scene was when he asked MM “Can you explain to me why I have that memory?” How is one expected to respond to a question like that???? I really wanted Mr. Gold around to go all Moe French on him.
I was mad at David for thinking so rashly because he had those memories — and ahem, seeing Mary Margaret with long hair and dressed as a huntress and saying, she’s going to kill her — in the woods, dark and snow on the ground – that he thinks that’s Mary Margaret. David is no state to make any kind of assumptions like that when clearly, he has identity/memory issues. Or ‘clearly’ understand what they mean.
Bad David. 😡

So I wonder if that key was on the key ring as well. Maybe Henry did put the key there.
I don’t think Henry planted the key in Mary Margaret’s cell. I think it was Regina. I’m trying to work out a timeline for how she could have planted a lot evidence in this episode.

Also, if he was blacking out in SB, and then he had memories of FTL that happened in the past, what was he really doing during those blackouts? Were his blackouts times when his FTL memory was over-riding his fake SB memories?
I think you got it. I think that time that David went to the ‘toll bridge’ it was exactly what Henry was saying, he was looking for ‘Snow White.’ I think it was the same thing when Mary Margaret encountered him in the woods and he kept on repeating that he was ‘looking.’ There’s some internal conflict between David’s false memories (implanted by the curse) and Prince Charming. Except he was less coherent than Graham once he started remembering.
@slurpeez108 wrote:
Also, I was really upset with David for being silly enough to accuse Mary Margaret of playing a role in Kathryn’s death. How could he so easily succumb to his “memories” without questioning them? How could he not stand by Mary Margaret when she stood by him? Were his conflicting memories the reason?
What really bothers me about that is that we got a glance of those memories and yes, the face is Mary Margaret but Mary Margaret doesn’t have long hair and yes, they were in the woods but clearly, there was snow on the ground. Two clues right there that should have told David, hey, something isn’t right here.
But I think it goes back to what what August said, seeing things that are literally in front of you versus believing something else. Now, I wish August would sit down with David and have a chat with him.

I found it interesting that when he added James’ hair to Snow’s in the bottle it looked like a DNA helix – which would mean it was Emma’s DNA.
I did not see that. 😮

Participantsome tweets about the finale, one of them is spoilerly.

ParticipantI would love a Belle/Rumple reunion 😀 If he is reunited with her, I think we’ll start to clearer sides: who’s with Emma breaking the curse and who’s with Regina. I think Gold would choose Emma’s side.
I think it’s likely David will remember his FT past but I hope if he does, that he won’t have his heart crushed like poor Graham.
I don’t think the curse will be broken by the finale.

ParticipantI like how there’s this random apple tree that pops up in the middle of the street. 😆
I can just see Emma staring oddly at this tree and thinking, “Yeah, this isn’t normal.”
