I think I’m all caught up now on the episodes. The cook finally had a song and it was so cute.
I’m really rooting for the King to kick Madalena out of the castle and out of his life. She’s awful, she doesn’t deserve anything.

Fish is such a great character, I would miss her if she dies this season. Jada owns that character.
The thing with Barbara, I’m not sure the writers know what to do with her, you know?
Before the show went on hiatus, when she hooked up with Rene, I felt that relationship was very intriguing and see where it could develop (if there were plans at all) and then as soon as you see them again, that relationship is dumped altogether.
I mean, if she is meant to end up with Jim, fine – but if it’s supposed to happen when he’s Commissioner Jim Gordon, well, he’s not even at that point in his life yet so what’s the point of Barbara being in the story? Seriously, what is the point?!
Just watched it. Tense episode. Jim got back into the GCPD rather quickly.
If the reason Barbara left home is because her parents were boring and she was bored, seriously, I don’t blame her. That whole tea with estranged daughter was very awkward. But it seemed like they judged her a lot, which from a parent to a child, can be painful. I’m not sure if I’m looking forward to a Barbara centric episode. She’s very wishy-washy.
What is it with these mobsters and villains and mommy or parental issues? I thought it was only a Once thing, but it’s a thing on Gotham too.

What is everybody’s favorite CS scene/s from the first half?
I think my top favorite still has to be the last Captain Swan scene from Breaking Glass. I’m not a fan of the episode as a whole but I did love Captain Swan small scenes at the sheriff station at the end of the episode. I love how Killian knew that something was wrong with Emma and how he encouraged her to let him see into her past. Emma could have refused and say, this stuff is private or whatever but she made the choice to let him in.
I particularly loved Killian’s reaction when he came across Neal’s picture. Neal was someone they both cared about in different ways and as much as I didn’t like Neal, I appreciate how Killian didn’t make a scene about how Emma keeps a picture of her ex-boyfriend. He was very mature about it and I think it weighed on him, wondering if Emma still carries a torch for Neal and can she ever really be happy with him?
I also love how Emma initiated their closeness when she popped in the video. She took his hand, swung it over her head and around her shoulder.
And then a few episodes later, when Emma and Killian are searching for clues in the woods about the ice queen and they come across more of Emma’s stuff, Killian stops what he’s doing and is there there beside Emma to learn more about her.

I never doubted that it wouldn’t be renewed for season two. This show is so good.
Writting it is a long process. Then I would have to transle it, so it will take time.

CSers dont fell welcome here anymore, so they write elsewhere, like fanforum with strict bashing policy or tumblr, or even facebook groups.
I know what you mean and I think it’s very sad too. This is a website for everyone; it’s not ‘shipper centric. Everyone should feel welcome. This thread especially will always be a safe haven for us CS ‘shippers; it’s the general discussions outside of this thread that can be problematic.
I’ve loved CS this season. there are things that I would have done differenty but I don’t know the bigger picture and it’s not my story to tell.
Yup, exactly. No season is perfect. There’s always going to be some kind of issue that’s going to rub someone the wrong way. Could the winter finale have focused more on Captain Swan? Yes. But there were also other things that needed to be wrapped up as well. I think cluing Emma on into Operation Mongoose could have been saved for 4B since we already know that is going to be a season long arc.
But, at the same time, I’m also grateful that CS did not have tacos or say ‘I love you’ to each other in the winter finale.
When you look back on Emma’s history, everytime she’s gotten close to someone romantically, they die on her. She said ‘I love you’ to Neal in a life and death situation in season 2. I think when an ‘I love you’ is exchanged between CS, it needs to not be in a life and death situation. It should be on their terms, when they both feel safe in their relationship. I don’t want Emma to be stressed. I want the first ‘I love you’ to really mean something and not to come about because they’re about to face a curse or something worse.
So, actually, I’m okay with it not being said in the winter finale. And we still have eleven episodes remaining in the season, anything can happen still.

I watched the movie and then I started to read fanfiction about the movie, and there was one fanfic I really loved. It’s called “Destiny Takes Time”; it was Phantom/Christine centric and I remember, the fic was so beautifully written. It was one of those rare occasions where I sat through reading a multi-chapter fic and the kicker, for me, was that the Phantom/Christine’s baby name is my name in real life.
The power of really good, very well written fanfics 🙂 It can make you ‘ship stuff you wouldn’t think twice about.
(I can’t link to the fic since it’s NC-17 rated, but I remember reading it on fanfiction.net).
And Pacey and Joey from Dawson’s Creek
Even though Dawson is the title character, I never really liked him. He was so whiny, so incredibly indecisive and I hated how entitled he felt most of the time.
But I liked Pacey. He was the relatable, screw-up best friend and Joey was the best friend from next door. All three knew each other since they were kids. And then in season three, Pacey realized, I’m in in love with my best friend’s ex-girlfriend (Joey); Pacey and Joey were together for a season, then broke up but the series finale made it to up to me when they Pacey and Joey ended up together.
Oh and Pacey had a boat that he named ‘True Love’ in honor of his love for Joey. He also bought her a wall so she could repaint her mural.
