We don’t know what the rest of the season will look like, but I’m curious, is there really any real hope for rumbelle at all?
Rumple lied to Belle (repeatedly) and used her as an alibi for murder…All of those are unforgivable actions. There’s an episode called The Unforgiven in 4B.
I used to ‘ship it hard once but now, I think, Belle would be much better off without Rumple, or if Rumple still wants to be with her, he has to really, truly prove that he has changed.
We know the only way for Rumple to lose his dark one magic is either via true love’s kiss, or someone kills him. Personally, I think the only way Rumple can truly change is to find a logical way to truly give up his powers altogether. No loopholes, nothing. Just give it up. He can’t still expect to keep his powers and Belle’s love at the same time.
If he hasn’t stilled learned his lesson in 4B, then I say, lost cause. He still has not learned anything at all.
[adrotate group="5"]It sounded like they were still working on the script adaptation. That can take a lot of time, to make sure it’s just right. I imagine there’s a lot more pressure to adapt from a musical to a movie, that everyone involved everyone wants to do it justice.

The “Agony” number between both Princes was perfectly performed, and is arguably the highlight of the entire movie.
I totally agree. That piece was so over the top it was perfect. Chris Pine really channeled Bill Shatner too.

Back when I was a fan of the Star Wars prequels, I loved two crack pairings: Obidala (Padmé Amidala and Obi-Wan Kenobi) and Sobiwan (Sabé & Obi-Wan). I viewed both differently. I loved my Obidala for the dark angst and inevitable not happily ever after they were likely to not have at all and I loved Sobiwan for the happy ever after.

SobiwanI created fansites for both, both a year apart from each other. I wrote fanfiction, made fan art, maintained both fansites for as long as I had the passion for it. I still think of my first fansite, Obidala Sanctuary every March 30th when the site celebrates a birthday. And there’s still a lively community for both even today.
And then, Paire from Heroes. I fell in love with Peter Petrelli and Claire Bennet so quickly in season one and still loved them even after the big reveal that they were related. The actors, Milo and Hayden had this amazing on-screen chemistry and in real-life, during the filming of season 2, they started dating off screen.

I’ll admit I didn’t quite know how to feel about how that was cut together, from Killian and Emma making out in the hallway at Granny’s to Emma pulling up a chair and drinking shots with Regina. I get that Adam and Eddy are trying force a friendship of sorts between Emma and Regina, but yeah, it seemed like more could have definitely happened between Killian and Emma. I don’t think that anything could have been tacos — I’d want to see that like everyone else.
But in a way, I’m also glad that we didn’t get anything sexier. And I couldn’t figure out why until I read NerdyGirlNotes’ review of the episode.
It started with Emma running away from quiet moments, but it ended with them taking a quiet moment to themselves and basking in the joy of it. This wasn’t a moment for intense, dramatic emotions; they have plenty of time for those. Instead, this was a moment to celebrate the fact that they’re okay. After everything, he’s alive and she’s in his arms again, and that’s all they needed to focus on at that moment. That’s also why I am happy Emma didn’t confess her love for him and we didn’t see them taking their relationship to the next level physically. When those things happen, I want them to be moments they choose because they want to do them, not because they feel overwhelmed by near-death experiences. Emma has always moved forward emotionally in moments of distress, and I like that it seems to be different with Hook. She feels secure enough with him to believe she can take her time; they can take their time. They both have a renewed sense of hope that this will be a relationship that doesn’t end in loss; he’s still her survivor, after all. And that sense of hope was written all over both of their faces after that kiss.
Every time Emma’s been in a serious relationship with a dude, he’s died. She said so in Rocky Road but I definitely appreciate that in a life and death situation like what Killian went through, sexy times did not happen. It should be when they’re both ready for it and it’s something that should happen naturally.
But yeah, I think Adam and Eddy could have held back Emma being aware about Operation Cobra until 4×14 or something. We already know finding the author of the book is going to be a season long arc. That bit could have been held off on for awhile.
That said, you know, there’s still 11 episodes left in the season. Anything can happen between 4×12 and 4×22. Same thing goes for the first time Emma actually says ‘I love you’. I don’t want it to be forced because of again, life or death situation.
I’m still counting a Captain Swan True Love’s Kiss this season. It has to happen at some point, right? Otherwise, why am I writing my true love meta?
