Peter Pan is Eddy’s favorite and Snow White is Adam’s favorite. As a writer, what do you do with your favorites? You find a creative way to mesh these two worlds together.
Emma is the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming, Hook is a pirate from Peter Pan and Emma was “Princess Leia” and Hook has been referred to as ‘Han Solo with guyliner.”
And Han and Leia ended up together in the end.

With the cheating, the sex in a crypt, and the endangerment of both Henry and Roland, this could be good for both sides. We’ll have to see how this plays out. I’m just excited for the finale based on the title alone!

I’m really proud of my fellow CS ‘shippers for making CS #4 in that Tumblr year end review. I’ve been with ‘ship since the beginning and I remember, the criticism and disbelief from non ‘shippers that it was not going to happen for x y or z reason.
And look at us now!
Our babies are together, they still have stuff they’re going through but it’s only going to make them stronger in the long run. Long run = long haul. And the quote that resonates with me when I think of Captain Swan’s growth comes from Jane Espenson. (She’s awesome).
Storytelling is about arcs because characters change. And if we believe that, we believe people can change. Better to educate than condemn.

Im so proud about both of Hook and Emma’s separate character development. Emma’s come such a long way from season one. She used to be closed off and not quick to trust people and generally, scared to show her vulnerability.
Hook went from a selfish pirate, to caring about other people, to wanting to truly reforming for himself and then for Emma. He even has a bromance with Charming. They even have a nod when they see each other.
You know your ‘ship is something special when even the tiniest romantic gesture, including kissing, is big news all over tumblr and twitter.

In Tumblr’s 2014 Year in Review
I think the king could easily be Triton or Stefan but given, Maleficient is coming back for 4B, I’m going with Stefan. Plus, he was the biggest jerk in the movie and I think the casting description fits him best.
There was an excellent voicemail on the OUAT Fan Podcast, that the book writes itself based on people’s choices.
I don’t go into the SwanFire thread but the one I did, I think mostly they’re talking about non-SF stuff but to be bluntly honest, if they’re all mostly doing that, just create a general topics thread. Now, I think it’s just a competition with us.
I’m very pessimistic about this new movie, I’ll be honest. I’m not expecting it to be good. The Phantom Menace trailer looked awesome but that was only because the awesome parts were cut together into that short trailer.
Plus, as far as I know, what happens in this movie makes most of the books null and void now. So that’s really disappointing. I feel for the writers there.
Prediction: Belle will try to get him to rescue the rest of the town.
Yeah, I don’t think that’s something Rumple’s gonna do. I think he’s even making plans to leave town. Ditch Belle and just leave. I predict that’s probably what he’s doing here. He’s trying to distract her with a promise that she’ll be safe (I’m guessing in the pawn shop) and once she’s hidden, he splits.
The last two OUAT fanfics I read were Killian centric. {Shocker}.
The first one was, Not so Rotten. Where after Killian gets his heart back, Belle apologizes to him for the ‘Not so rotten’ comment from season two. I need this to be addressed so badly on the show. I don’t think it’ll happen but I definitely need Belle to open her eyes more.
The second one is called, Your Heart, My Hands. Heartless Killian. I made a promise to myself, I’m not going to read this kind of fanfic because I know I’ll probably end up an emotional mess afterwards. But I thought I’d give this one a try and the action and the angst, is very well balanced. I can write angst/romance, sometimes fluff but action tends to be one my weaker points. And I liked the balance here.
