Something else to consider, Regina raised Henry since he was a baby. If Henry started making his favorite toys float while he was in his crib, I think that’s something Regina would have mentioned to him. So I actually believe Regina when she says that he’s not magical.

    4) Rumple: does he have an agenda and/or plan beyond GET ALL THE POWER? And if yes, are you patient enough to hear it out or are you done with this? And if no, what does that mean for him?

After last night, after he lied to Emma about how to remove her power,  I’m not sure I care to know why he is doing what he’s doing.  I get that he wants to free himself from the dagger and have all the power without the limitations stuff, but what else? What’s the bigger purpose for that? Is it to rule the world?

The thing Rumple still doesn’t get, even if he does succeed, he can’t have all power and retain his relationship with Belle.  He made the difficult choice once to choose between saving his son and letting go of the dagger and he made the difficult but right decision and let go of the dagger to save his son.

Now, if he were presented with a similar choice this season: Belle’s love or ultimate power and no gray area in between, I’m not sure he would choose Belle. I think he would choose magic because that seems to matter more to him at the moment than telling her the truth.

As I said in a different thread, it’s been very difficult for me to like or even sympathize with Rumple. But I think it would be harder for me to feel bad for Belle (I don’t like her being lied to constantly), but her reaction when all this stuff comes out, really comes out — what’s it going to be?

Is it going to be, “Oh Rumple, I’m so sorry honey that you feel that way. All’s forgiven and they move on’ or is it going to be, all blazes furious Belle, as she should be?  If she reacts all sorry for him and takes him back without hesitation, I would question Belle’s sanity in that choice.

The rules about babies in general and magic confuse me, especially after what we know about Zelena. We know Cora had Zelena before Cora learned about magic and yet, Zelena had the gift of magic since birth. I’m still not sure how that’s possible. How could Zelena be magically inclined that early when Cora didn’t know about magic or even mastered it yet? Both of her parents at that point were not magical.

As for the lights flickering thing when Henry was born, I always interpreted that scene as Emma’s always had magic inside of her (she is the product of true love after all). I’m not sure if Henry has magic. If he did, I think it would have manifested itself a long time ago to be honest. Remember, he couldn’t remove his heart in Neverland, Pan had to put an enchantment on him in order for it be removed. And Henry couldn’t put an enchantment on his own heart in order for it to be protected, Regina had to do that.

I thought this thread, judging by the title was going to be about something else…

I thought the mention of the book was fitting for this episode.

There is a greater chance of the moon shattering into a million pieces and becoming little happy butterflies than there is of Hook dying.

I agree. I’m not really worried about Hook dying.

I think the only two people likely to die this first half are Marian and Ingrid.

Elsa and Mary Margaret talk about their mistakes. Elsa questions if she would help Emma or talk her own from removing her powers.

Least favorite: Outlaw Queen. I liked them in the third season, but can’t stand them in this one. I don’t mind them getting together, but the way they are going about it is just awful. “Sure Regina, I’ll help you with finding a book author so you can make him give you a happy ending. It’s not like I have a dying mother of my child to think of”. It’s one thing for him to be cheating on the side while his wife is dying (which is still bad in my opinion), but for him to invest all this effort into the stupid book plot which is definitely something that doesn’t need to be done right this instant, while Marian is lying Frozen and he’d not really doing much to save her….yeah I doubt the writers can do much to salvage this couple for me at this point. Don’t even get me started on Snow being”adultery is totally OK, Regina”….ugh…just no Rumpel: I am not sure there are any words to express how angry I am with Rumpel in this chapter. He’s done some pretty bad things by now, but this one takes the cake. He’s not even conflicted, he’s a full on villain now. I so wish for Marian and Belle to realize what’s happening with their husbands and kick them to the curb.

    I agree.

I do wonder about Belle since Family Business.  Is she purposely ignoring all the bad stuff he’s doing just to keep herself sane or does she suspect?  Like I would have loved to have known, did Belle know that Rumple was sneaking out late at night to trap Emma in the hat? They live in the same house, how can she not notice that? Heavy sleeper?

I am sorry but what is with the Charmings lately? They keep making bad parenting decisions. I can’t believe they were actually okay originally letting Emma lose her powers.

It shocked me there was less resistance from both Charming and Snow once they learned from Emma herself that she was going to get rid of her powers.  Like they didn’t ask how that was possible, if it was safe…they just accepted it was okay and moved on. Only Elsa and Hook were the only two concerned about what that meant for Emma; Hook knew how it was probably going to happen and Elsa realized what Emma was going through because she went through the same and saw, that it wasn’t okay.

I think it also reinforced how Snow feels about Emma.

I’m kinda glad this was deleted. I loved how Elsa talked Emma down from removing her magic. I feel this scene would have lessoned what we got if it had been kept in.
