well i hate it that they are not mentioning rumplestiltskin but i think that that is in part due to editing so many things into the episodes. they dont have time for that dialogue i suppose, for snow and charming perhaps at some points during that year they comented on missing rumplestiltskin but its been a year for them since he “died” now i dont like that emma does not mention him but such is life.

an alternate theory why Rumple could not have used Zeleena: Regina seems definitely more maleable less likely to see through everything than Zeleena is. Zeleena seems much stronger willed more fierce in that way because she grew up alone. I wonder, since zeleena grew up alone as Emma did will they play that sympathy card eventually be it true or a ploy by the wicked witch?

One thing I know: Rumple will find Neal, Rumple finding Be or Belle will instantly bring him *mostly* back to normal though he may have to keep up the act for most people.

How do we know at face value that what zeleena said about being a midwife was not true? Granted, she has other motives that ahve to do with possibly emulating Regina, but she clearly had knowledge about the subject which snow was reading (or at least I think so). My theory she grew up in Oz, became a midwife, someone blamed her for a baby’s defect, and she turned evil and became the wicked witch of the west.

Really, everyone was surprised when Oz was real as well? Why are they always surprised? They are magical beings. Personally theywere more surprised about thsi than by Frankenstein. Why??????
