Participanti definitely agree with the consensus that more conversations need to happen but heres the million dollar question: who apart from a die hard fan of the show would watch such episodes of everyone just sitting around and discussing thier issues? can writing really withstand believable redemption without a greater evil to fight against? more to the point are snow and david cookie cutter disney heroes (now i dont think so but i could name others who do think they are in the present time not the past). i am just trying to play devils advocate because i really do believe that conversation episodes are exactly what this show needs something like “the town has a picnic” sort of an episode, or an important flashback episode interspersed with conversations in gold’s shop or the mayor’s office.

Participanta scene i have always wanted to see (well at least since Manhattan): we see a whole scene where we think its in present time, but instead its a Golden prophesy. Then for a few episodes we are trying to figure out from the jigsaw pieces in that scene whether Gold will aid or prevent that prophesy coming true.
A proper backstory for the Blue Fairy.
The proper backstory of the book (that is still ambiguous, the scene made it look as if the book were part of the curse but that cant be true because Frankenstein’s story was not included)
and speaking of Frankenstein, if you are going to have another realm make full use of it what other characters come from land without colour? is there Dracula, is there Dr. Jeckyll, maybe a captain ahab or a macabre character like heithcliff?
and finally: more baelfire. i want to know how he got out of enverland and how he became neal cassidy and i want to see more of a relationship with henry, and more of a relationship with his fahter. hopefully that is in the works.
i want more of emma’s backstory, like seeing her at henry’s age or what happened in the foster system to her.
also if i could i would go back in time and delete all scripts involving gregg and tamara. they did not bring much to the show.

Participanthow does stuff get to storybrooke? i have 28 years worht of an answer but after emma gets there my logic breaks down. since for 28 years it was a big daily reset like groundhog day that explains how food and supplies got there for 28 years. afterward it was a magical town that did not exist on a map.
why did no one notice henry aging? that can be answered with the question: why did henry not notice he did the same school lesson every day?
until henry gets the book eh is blind to the curse and once he gets the book everything starts to unravel.
speaking of henry getting the book at the very end of save henry we saw a flashback to henry when he was 10 and queen when does this take place in relation to the 3-11 going home flashback when henryy got the book and what is its significance. i thought its significance was that that moment was when regina remembered there was a ticking clock and her time had just run out and it would be emma’s 28th birthday soon.
rules of magic: agree with all the rules stated above must mention “true loves kiss can break any curse” (except if you are both technically in a dream state at the time. if you kill a super magical being you inherit its powers seer dark one presumably the djinn of agraba.

Participantok, i could see myself watching this just for the epic fail potential it has. i am odd that way. i mean i could see it going good for like 3 or 4 episodes but certainly not a full 22 episode run. also, when i think of musicals and fairytales such as this I think of Once Upon A Matress a Princess and the pea musical starring Matthew Morrison from Glee. i think he would be good as a character in this. I also think of the upcoming movie version of Into the Woods which I hear stars Johnny Depp (I cannot spell his name). Also now no fairytale is complete without Rumplestiltskin. long live mr. gold.

Participantwhat is mr. gold’s first name? mr. “every moment i have been on this earth it’s been mr. gold” therefore he is the man with no first name. fitting him being rumpelstiltskin the man with an impossible first name to guess.
ok probably wrong there.
as to why the lamp was there: fate. the lamp had been left there or transported there from agraba and since the djinn cannot move the lamp it was just sitting there for however many years for leopold to find.
as to why is this show so addictive: one word Rumpelstiltskin. that is was and always will be what draws me to this television program. everyone else is very talented, but theres something magnetic about the dark one’s acting that drew me in from moment one. also they have the cute kid factor with henry (scratch that he is now a moody and rebellious teen they are not cute) also keep coming back for the name puns (which no longer exist “blanchard, no land, glass, gold, hopper, ruby, whale (not a name pun sadly, but a cool name drop nod to his movie version) jefferson, (from jefferson airplane) but yes those two reasons.

Participantglad i have two on board. please feel free to make suggestions and i for one am going to email Daniel and the crew about it, and you guys can as well. i figure we can compile a list of questions like have a different person in charge of compiling questions for each season. i dont know. and then we could plan a day in a few weeks for us to do this grand challenge over skype and have like a 2 hour podcast about it or something. i really want to get as many people involved in that as i can so the other podcasters that are usually invited to round tables if they can participate. also games on the forum are of course great too but i was thinking of this as a specific game show format.
