Participantin terms of shows which air in the summer i have one with an interesting connection to onc eupon a time
Continuum: terrorists from 2077 travel back in time (iriginally what they think is five years but then allt h way back to 2012) meanwhile a police detective from their time Kiera Cameron travels iwht them and bumps into the future inventor of all their technology Alec sadler. (the itneresting connection to once upon a time is that the lead terroist is Tony Amondola Gipetto) This show is filmed and set in vancouver.
Another show i watch is about police in Toronto and it is called Rookie Blue and it is a cop drama.

Participantit is my personal head cannon until proven otherwise that the whole “I know how to recognize a desperate soul” thing really came out of “poor unfortunate souls” and i wanted rumpelstiltskin to be Ursula to see if i could be proven right in my insane prediction but he was not. lol.

ParticipantI Knew You Were Trouble by Taylor Swift (obviously because it starts with that phrase so i wrote a parody of it and put it in the fan art thread check it out) when i first saw trailer for Once Upon A Time there was a song and its called “Rescue Me” by Kerry Roberts, specifically written for the show. Its a good song
Royals by Lorde reminds me of Regina and cora but more so REgina
I have heard people say that Some Nights by Fun reminds them of Augusts character.
I like the Jar of Hearts song already mentionnned lol. “

Participanton the vet from the animal shelter who tells about the dove to dAvid and Mary Margaret: he is dr. dolittle in my opinion.
On Grumpy the dwarf’s story: simple answer they just hoped the audience would not notice that the dreamy episode did not include this tidbit. also I don’t care if we dont see this story because it is not central to my understanding of the plot.
on Regina and august: probably she just saw a picture of Pinnocchio once upon a time or was spying on the war council about the curse and saw him.
On Rumpelstiltskin and REgina meeting wE aRe Both: back where we belong refers probably to hsi ability to see the future and knowing that it would be Regina who would cast the curse.. also i like your explanation of portal and portable but it probably is not true since we clearly saw Cora and Regina in The Queen of Hearts.

Participantsome really cool suggestions here hmm lets see what i can contribute:
on subject of Enders Game and Hunger gAmes I loved them all.
if you have ever heard of inkheart by cornelia funke read it.
If you secretly wanted Home Office in season 2 to win and think that science can beat magic read Artemis Fowl its a great book series wherein magic is just advanced technology for the most part (e.g. invisiblity is camo-foil)
also i really think you must read Enchantress form the stars, it is science fantasy and explores the nature of bleief.
Finally, if you read none of my other suggestions read the Wrinkle in Time series by Madeline L’Engle. They are treasures that can be read at any age form 10 to 100. They may be science fiction but they are also philosophy about the nature of time, existance, family, love, faith, hope and anything really.
