ParticipantMy favourite moment was Rumple’s sacrifice. I always knew he had it in him.
I love you Belle, I love you Bae.
he was truly noble and cannot be gone.
But according to Jeremy and I might agree with Phlegon here “It’s cheap if you bring him back after having such a farewell scene. teh boy crying wolf is included in our collection of fairy tales.”
It is sad but true that ater that scene all others with Rumple will be anticlimax in a way. I don’t know if anyone understands what I mean.

ParticipantBy Emma’s Tamara do you mean a guy who fell in love with her after purposely spilling coffee on himself who secretly works for an organization against magic and fairy tales?
lol.
also Regina did not know Emma’s history so she just gave Emma ten years of Henry time. Hey here’s a thought. what if most of that was actually stuff that Regina and Henry did together that now Emma has emmories of? That would be interesting.
Also one more thought: all other times of implanted emmory (2) we have seen via enchanted object.
1. David and Windmill at Mr. Gold
2. Lacey and matchbook of Rabbit Hole in hospital.
3. Emma and her car?
Thoughts on this?
Also I thought it was really noble of Regina to do that instead of making Henry and Emma purposely unahppy together which she could have easily done.

Participantscroll of Henry and heart of truest believer: Pan knows the seer who spoke to Rumple.
Captain Hook: I just want to see more of his story with Pan.
Tink: She immediately exiled herself to Neverland where time works slightly different, so she was there during Baelfire’s time but closer to the end of it.
Felix: I read a great fanfic wherein Felix was the first lost boy and.. Pan’s True Love.

December 13, 2013 at 10:20 pm in reply to: What can or can't they use in OUAT? Possible Oz ideas #230442once_dude
Participantwhat i thought this topic would be about and what ended up getting discussed were different so first i will go over opinions on what has been discussed
1. Wicked: I love the musical have not read the book. want to read that whole series but will have to block out some time to do so. It would be interesting as a tv show my friend has read the book and she says it is completely different from the musical. will also read the princess Tutu book or whatever it is that was mentionned.
2. LGBT OUAT: sure why not? I love the idea that true love can come in all forms (just so long as it is not swan Queen) I mean theyre supposed to be enemies, I can see sharing Henry, and possibly even having a Thanksgiving dinner together but not Swan Queen as canon.
3. race in Ouat: sure they need characters of all races, why cant they have an African Prince Charming? why cant they have Aladdin? how come one of Hook’s crew can’t be of a different race? and where were all the aboriginals in Neverland (was I using the correct term for that last one?
4. What I thought the thread would actually be about: what worlds have we seen and coudl we see on Once?
London (Darlings’, Alice, make up your mind)
world without colour (sure more of this land)
Neverland (so much more story there)
Agraba (lots more story here)
Greek myth land (ok you have Midas and chimera and Medussa what else have you)
Sherwood Forest (sure an adventure with Robin would be nice)
Camelot (Lancelot had to come from somewhere)
as to more myths to include:
norse would be super cool
anybody know the african myth of Anansy? (think I am spelling that right)
more Chinese or Japanese or Korean myths would be awesome (and more screen time for Mulan or other characters from that culture)
Hans Christian Anderson (he has plenty of stories to use some very dark which we all know OUAT loves)

Participant120. There should be a password agreed upon by parties so that one can check whether the party is in fact who they cliam to be. For instance: One for Emma and Henry can be Operation Cobra. (Either this or one can have a specific moment of connection reference but that might not alwayswork)
121. This rule is in general for most shows of the drama and horror genere: When you scream, make sure to scream something coherent and specific like “Help Pan’s shadow!” That way people will know exactly how to help.
122. True love’s kiss although it is powerful should not occur everywhere, follow the example of Mr. Gold who has his in private.

ParticipantOk, I can see somewhat your point, here is how I see it.
I loved what they did in season one, they built a world to play in, with the story behind Snow White, Prince Charming, Regina, and Rumplestiltskin. They did some interesting stories too like Hansel and Gretel, Red Riding Hood, (nice twist that not a lot could have predicted) and the Mad Hatter (again just taking a character in name only)
Season 2 I absolutely hated. It had emphasis on plot rather than character, and the plot was not even that good most of the time. They tried to show a redemption arc for Regina and it just failed. There were only three really good episodes from last Season: Manhattan, The Queen Is Dead, The Miller’s Daughter.
This season I feel they are really going where the show was meant to go. They are having adventures wherein people like Snow White, Charming, Regina, Emma, even captain Hook, find out who they really are beyond the facade that others see of them. We see Rumplestiltskin with his inner conflict about whether he should be noble or fight for himself and his nasty habits like he has always done. We see a very twisted origin of Peter Pan and yet they keep the spirit of his Neverland self close to the book with some of the expressions they use and the way he is always playing games.
Ok i grant you they are not doing strict retellings offolklore and fairy tale and they have now expanded borders to Neverland and Wonderland and some sort of world without colour (what is up with that I still want some answers there) but I never thought they would just stick to fairy tales. True they have explored beyond Storybrooke, but when you have fairytales you have to have quests and that is what this first arc of the season was. (they tried to do a quest in season 2 and failed miserably)
I don’t know if any of my opinions made sense but hope you appreciate them. The one point I agree with you on is that it would be best for eveyrone to just pretend that the second season never happened for the most part.

ParticipantMy thoughts on Blue in general:
I like her, therefore she needs to be more than just a plot device (be it for good Jiminy and Pinnocchio) or “evil” (the dark curse announcement, the warning off of Tinkerbell, and the forbidding of Nova and dreamy)
I want her to have an overarching story because everyone in the show gets one (if Dreamy the dwarf can get one why cant the blue fiary)
As to there being a funeral scene: readers take note: there was a funeral for Arcie Hopper.
If they bring her back they have to have mroe of a story to her character: even fi she gets jsut oen episode all the fans would be happy. I don’t care whether they make her sneaky or not (sneaky fairy is sneaky) but I want to know her just as much as I know Anton at least.
Reu Ghorm you will be missed if you are dead.

ParticipantHi. I know practically nothing about deep space 9. HOwever Q meets Rumplestiltskin is my vote.
also a few more:
Janeway and crew finally get back to the alpha quadrant but their ship goes through a portal to Storybrooke. You know hard it is to escape from there. (lol jokes)
The crew from next Generation could also go to enchanted forest and try diplomacy to stop the dark curse. (you know how much Picard loves his diplomacy)
Yes I know my ideas are slightly less serious than yours.
