ParticipantThe reason why I do and do not have a problem with Baby Henry as the Heart of Truest Believer:
I do have a problem because babies cannot believe. You have to be able to communicate and think logically in order to do that. (+ the whole thing about the picture of Henry)
Reason why I surprirsingly don’t have a problemw ith it: we have proof of Henry’s magic genetics from episode 1 of this season. Henry is born, cue power outage.
So those are my thoughts. Discuss.

Participantmaybe some of us would be less upset if a certain scene had gone differently picture if you will stretching our mental televisions back (come on we all have them) to season 1 episode 2. Rumples line was “Ah Henry, the boy I procured for you.” Rumples line should ahve been:
“Ah Henry, the boy I helped you adopt.”See problem solved.

ParticipantI just want him to die!!!!!!!!
REdemption is a great theme, and being a Christian it is one that I love. But I don’t think Pan has the ability to feel for waht he has done. I think he is a psychopath.
But give me a break I once said that about Regina (and most of last season did not change my mind) but this season she really has come a long way.
So maybe for Pan but I would not want that.
It would be just too predictable narrative speaking since all the villains always get redeemed.
who will the final villain be if my first theory is right and he dies, or if rumples girls theory is right and eh gets redeemed? well thats another post entirely.

Participantok i have a theory that will make no sense.
postulate 1: supposedly this is a land without magic.
except that postulate 2: people can still rip out hearts, and make memory potions, and make spinning tophats, and make people lose their memories through windmills, that look awesome, oh and see neverland shadows and have creatures that perform magic like the dragon.
postulate 3: therefore, what if rumple’s prophesy gift is of a different magical part. now hear me out.
postulate 4: let us say that mr. gold did not know of prophesies as such but what about sixth sense esp sort of thing, he had some sort of precognition that the mr. gold part of himself couldn’t explain but that he couldn’t discount. that part of his brain said “take this specific child because it will annoy the heck out of Regina and maybe in the future prove useful for … something.”
(this was a not well thought out theory that i pondered at the bus stop this afternoon)

Participantok dislikes:
the adoption itself seemed fishy
as did the time when Regina went back to the adoption agency but still left with Henry
likes:
every single Neverland moment (but wtf what the fairytale Regina you have on regrets I thought you were better than that)
oh and also liked the moment which everyone else hated when Regina was in the potion mixing and she was telling Henry about the heroic evil Queen and the evil saviour
maybe its just because I have a flare for story telling that i might not mind that they deliberately set up a retroactive continuity cenario.
p.s. for all of you who are wondering who wrot ethe book the answer: Regina. i know it makes on sense but she otld a story this episode so she is my enw author. haters gonna hate on my theory.

Participantok heres how i rationalised the fact that the agent guy had no interest in checking Storybrooke: Regina had placed a magic spell on the building and all those inside it before she walked in: a confundus charm from Harry Potter. problem solved. after all, we never saw Regina go into the building just her in there with the agent.
as to logic of “Oh you changed your mind, here let us help you change it back: the adoption agency thoug that Regina was less shady than the Darling brothers although she came form a town that did not exist.
also: this was 2002, how many small towns the size of storybrooke which we can sssume ahs less than 1000 had a website or a hit on google maps? was there even a google map in 2002? she coudl have just said “oh your information must somehwo be out of date my town was only founded in 1983”
i dont know just trying to rationalize soem stuff that admittedly does not make sense.

ParticipantI am a firm believer in the fact that Gold had memories of a son who had left him. It makes sense to have the characters’ pasts in SB resemble their real pasts as much as possible. (granted this was otn so for Mary Margaret and dAvid but I am ignoring that. Gold” wrote the curse so couldn’t he have written some of the characters including himself? I don’t know just throwing ideas around.

Participant114. It has come to our attention that there have been absolutely no town meetings since that one awkward time when the Sheriff accused the mayor of embezzling and the mayor admitted to embezzling to build a children’s playground. Town meetings shall henceforth be once a month and shall not be run by Regina Mills. (correlary to this rule: town meetings shall no longer bea euphemism for town council members canoodling)
115. embezzling for funds for a new playground is still embezzling.

ParticipantAlthough I am a shipper I in fact get annoyed with people who think that this show is solely about who ends up wiht who. I enjoyed the plots of season one, some in season two and all of season three. I hope that this show continues to be plot and character driven instead of relationship driven.
