Participantwell i will write the worst case scenario: they succeed, Eva dies, Snow is never born, therefore Emma is never born, therefore the curse requires a new source of love potion #9, and a new saviour. maybe the new saviour can be like the son philip and aurora? would be interesting to have another random male hero character.

Participantwell personally i thought the spell just required:
a newborn babe, born of true love. or something suitably medieval.

Participantif Johnathan as Dorothy’s father is true, perhaps he movedhis fairytale conman schemes to Kansas and partnered with Wizard walsh? I dont know just trying to see whether Dorothy is from kansas or Enchanted Forest. Cause I am alright with Johnathan being her father just os long as she is form kansas.

ParticipantI consider myself somewhere between a casual viewer and an obsessive head caonist. I could name you any episode and storyline from it, and how that fits into the storyline as a whole, therefore much mroe than a casual viewer.
did i have theories of the author of henrys book or the adoption, or who august and neal were or who Greg was? some that i shared, most that i did not take seriously, I just like hearing everyone else’s theories.
when i heard about Peter Pan the first time and that he may have a connection to rumple, I immediately thought 2 theories that were both wrong but whatever.
the one thing that i will end with is that Zeleena is the queen of the retcon. retroactive continuity my friends, yes Cora had a long lost daughter did you not all know that, oh wait she also knew Leopold, who was seen in season 1 and then disappeared in all of season 2? ya sure why not? i mean, part of me does not expect them to have every second plotted out from episode 1, but the other part wants to think that the enchanted forest is a real world with real history that did not contradict itself, and then to find out that just like any show they can do retcon. they can add new characters without being related. off topic rant.

ParticipantFirst I shall address the issue on hand, then I will bring up my biggest problem with our favourite saying.
I think that Emma’s price could be many things 1. i definitely agree with the saviour archetype theory they have only called ehr that 50 times. 2. However, we have seen many grow addicted to magic because it is power, our saviour who through much of her life has been a victim of others’ designs would sense this ultimate control she has and become more addicted to it, I could see her being warned by Snow and David but Regina and Rumple don’t recognize the early signs until its too late.
Magic always comes with a price what about for the original power? The price for the magic of the blue fairy is never havinga proper backstory, having people be constantly suspicious of your every move, whether you really did have good intentions and they just worked out wrong, or whether you just think yourself to be working for your definition of common good. i dont know she is the person with most mysterious motives.

Participanta few theories: 1. Tamara is Dorothy’s grand daughter and that is why she hates magic. This could still be true.
2. Henry wrote the book fromt he future. In episode 11 of season 3 we did not really get a fully satisfying reason for the book, but Henry wrote the book once he grew up and magically sent it back in time.
3. During the Tower I heard Rapunzel was from Camelot, not quite a crazy theory but very interesting.
4. I am sad this one was not true Wizard whale Dr. Frankenstein became the Wizard of Oz. they literally called him a wizard so this should ahve been true.
5. I heard when we were discussing walsh before we learned he was a flying monkey that he was future Henry.
Finally in the DVMPE podcast before Heart is A Lonely Hunter episode the two guys had a theory that all of this fairy tale stuff was merely Henry’s delusion, an that he would be seen at some point in the series in a mental institution.
