The Blue and Black fairies could be sisters if the writers wanted to drag Blue into the family tree. Though who knows how biological sisters would happen in a group that is not permitted to fall in love, we still don’t understand the genesis of Fairies.
Someone has to lay all those dwarf eggs? Maybe the males are born dwarves and the females are born fairies. Blue and Black hatched from the same egg. Or were born from the same baby laugh or whatever it is :3
Ooh some great thoughts here. The writers really need to address where fairies and dwarf eggs come from.

onceaholicParticipantCould this week’s ratings be riding off of last week’s good episode eg more people tuning in for this week’s because of last week’s and so on and so forth?
My guess is that people were looking forward to the Snowing centric.
Yes, I am going with due it being a Snowing centric, seeing as the previous ep was dreadful.

onceaholicParticipantThat was the essential part of her accepting her role as the savior, the belief, not her age. In fact, Emma was always the savior since she was born because that is how Rumple had engineered it. Therefore, her age was irrelevant
Yes the age factor they randomly inserted was one of the dumbest things in an episode full of dumb things. 28 is just the age when she came to town.
Good point. Age is definitely irrelevant. She was BORN the savior.
A better plot point would have been to say that she needed to grow up to be old enough to cope with the burden of savior-ing, and to do that, she would have to be kept well away from Regina, who would have murdered her as a child.

onceaholicParticipantThe ultimate darkness aka the black fairy needs help even though she no longer trapped. Really? She should be stronger than a god….

I would have greatly enjoyed this episode but unfortunately, simultaneous TLK from Regina and Emma wasn’t used to break the curse, and instead there was a convoluted backstory and present day plot involving a never-before-mentioned pixie flower, which apparently Snowing used then season 2 or 3 ish when Emma complained about being on her own for 28 years, Snowing failed to tell her to reassure her? Really?
And how on Earth or in any realm is Emma (or any of them for that matter) supposed to fight the Black Fairy while drunk on curse juice?
Said this already before but…a potion that removes blackness in someone’s heart, and therefore the whole premise of the show (Regina’s black heart leading to her casting the curse etc).
And yeah Captain Swan, don’t bring Tiger Lily through the door with you, just shut it in her face lol selfish pair.
What a mess.
Must say though, it was great to see Evil! Regina again in SB. It show-cased how well Lana has pulled off Regina’s development over the past 6 years. The body language, facial expressions and pitch and tone of her voice were all very different.
The Black Fairy is suitably creepy for a fairy tale character too, so hats off to her.

onceaholicParticipantOne more idea based on continuity that I forgot to add to my OP:
We saw that Tink lost her wings when Blue stopped believing in her. Maybe fairies, including the black fairy can die or at least be made much more vulnerable to attack if no one believes in them, if their existence is “denied” (re: info for upcoming episode). Not sure if the writers will do this, but thought I would put it out there.
again, anyone got any theories?
@WickedRegal good point. But we have had the whole Zelena-got-pregnant-after-raping-Robin plotline and the rape was never properly addressed (and many other ridiculous plotlines) so who knows what the writers will come up with…they can’t be trusted to be sensible.Keeper of Regina's bravery
onceaholicParticipantNo new family members…so the little girl isn’t related to Regina then, or anyone for that matter.
Then I guess that means, Andrew’s Character isn’t adult Henry either…so I guess the new arrivals really are just original characters. Now I’m confused on the purpose of these coming new people…
Not really-New actor, same character therefore same family member. Then again, have they been filming together a lot? I haven’t kept on top of who is filming and when. If so, then yeah really confusing.

onceaholicParticipantSoooo…you mean to tell me, that this entire time…there was a potion to rid someone of the darkness in their heart?! I can’t even be mad, this is just too hilarious….like this is the most unplanned, illogical, spur of the moment, magical McGuffin in the entire series!
Right? Now the whole premise of the show is out the window…..bye byeeee
