I still think Blue and Black are actual sisters, born two halves of the same whole of something, like Ying and Yang.
That’s an interesting theory. Are you thinking “two fairies born of the same laugh” kind of thing? Perhaps if that’s the case, the black fairy and the blue fairy can sense each other’s presence, hence why: a) The blue fairy knew to go to Bae and try and convince him to leave with Rumple (the black fairy’s son and grandson) b) Why the black fairy knew blue had Gideon c) why the black fairy wanted blue out of the way so she couldn’t warn anyone that the black fairy was in Storybrooke.
Quotesome good points!
And, if we remember’s Snow’s lesson, every action has an equal and opposite reaction, the two of them being able to sense each other would make sense (not only because they are the same person/born of the same laughter/two halves of the same something).

Yes, exactly. A few years ago on this site I theorized that the light and darkness (perhaps the two fairies) were born at the same time. It also happens to tie in the Jeckyl and Hyde theme.

onceaholicParticipantOkey dokey then. Wait so there is a potion that diminishes the darkness in ones heart…..? Uh, okay. I love how regina and zelena instantly know what EQ did to the hearts but both failed to consider it as a possibility beforehand. Like come on, regina. The EQ is YOU. She knows everything you know. You really mean to tell me you cant figure out a way around this? Emma, please just kiss your parents.
I know right?
I am so irritated with the writers right now. Hey Regina and Zelena you don’t need to fight the darkness anymore. Just drink this potion. And hey, maybe we can even use it on the Black Fairy during the final battle haha. And duh Regina, why didn’t you think of this earlier? Continuity, please. The only explanation I think of is that a specific ingredient to make this potion is something they had never head of before, because it comes from another realm, and a character brings it back from that realm in that episode.
Anyway, come on writers, you have a solution already: simultaneous TLK. Again, continuity please and no more convolution.
How can they expect a renewal after this?

-Hypocrisy from Snow and Emma.
-Emma not poofing out of the house to get away from the spider and the spider’s web.
-And boring. Just boring.
However…
I still think Blue and Black are actual sisters, born two halves of the same whole of something, like Ying and Yang.

onceaholicParticipantGold denies the BlackF what exactly? Isn’t this half a clause? Anyway, I remember when Blue Fairy said that she no longer believes in Tink, Tink’s wings fell off. I wonder if you ”deny” the Black Fairy/say that you don’t believe in her, it will weaken her just enough for the heroes to defeat her. Unfortunately though, I expect it is some never-mentioned-before magical mcguffin that Gold denies her rather than the writers linking concepts together and keeping continuity.

onceaholicParticipantA bit off tangent, but I remember there being lots of similar story books in Merlin’s apprentice’s home (?). Are they all separate stories or one long one, I wonder. Were they all blank? (I remember the one they looked at was).
Yes they were blank, IIRC. There were also books in the library in NYC when Henry and Violet went to do research. I don’t think anything has come of either of those two sets of books?
No, the (blank?) books have not been mentioned since, which I really don’t get because they seem important to the mythology, and seem relevant to the upcoming plot arc. I hope they will include them again, and perhaps their inclusion will answer some of your questions in your top post.

onceaholicParticipantNot so sure OUAT will be able to adjust up to a 0.8 now.
Yeah I’d say we have a new series low
Not surprising, given the quality of the previous episode.

Whatever happens at the end of Henry’s book, maybe there is still hope, because their stories can be written in the next books on the apprentice’s home. Or maybe one book is one reset if things go wrong?

onceaholicParticipantAll right, so… Emma still gets sent to LWM/our world and must be left alone for 28 years ago so that she becomes the saviour (=Snowing tempted to going back in time in the current time line?).
Meanwhile, if Snowing step through the random door, Emma will never become the savior (but she would still be born…and where would she live?). Why would they do that?
Confusing, but intriguing.
Meanwhile, I too am vexed that TLK from Regina (on Snow) and Emma (on Charming) does not break the sleeping curse (something I had been hoping for since the ep they had been cursed).
