ParticipantI think Thandie Newton, Anthony Hopkins and Jeffrey Wright all should be considered for an Emmy. I’ve actually been particular impressed with Jeffrey Wright as Bernard.
Yes,…but that would mean Lana Parrilla wouldn’t get one *sob*

ParticipantSneak Peak 2:
looks like EQ’s gash appeared again after she healed it???
NEED TO DELETE THIS COMMENT BUT CAN’T.

ParticipantYES!! OH NO! Dont kill her Emma
Dont kill my favorite character. I need her back inside Regina… Exiting clip! Im guessing this means that when Emma gets stabbed with this sword her “savior self” will die, like it was foreseen by the girl Oracle. And the “rest” of Emma will survive.
hmm your theory is the opposite of mine before the 2nd sneak peek came out 🙂
Certainly one part of her will die, but she will not die entirely 🙂

ParticipantKeegan has been on set quite a bit for this episode. I don’t want to get my hopes up, but could ‘Ill-Boding Patterns’ possibly be a Blue Fairy / Mother Superior centric FINALLY?
One can only hope.
Please, pretty please with fairy dust on top….

ParticipantI don’t think we can simply assume that it is the AU Regina showing up.
Except we still have to rationalize why the EQ is there at all then. We know she is; she’s in the scene–dressed in almost the same, if not the same, outfit she wears in the pilot. The EQ shouldn’t exist at all if there are no villains–as stated in the article–unless they just mean that after the protection spell was placed on Snowing, the EQ was powerless without Rumple prodding her into the Curse. Except THAT makes no sense either. Rumple was the one who put the protection curse on Snowing because of his long con to find Bae. So we have a few options: No Rumple (he never became the Dark One OR never lost Bae and set out on his long path) OR we have a Rumple but he never managed to convince the EQ to try the Dark Curse and she is simply an evil queen–but not one that has aged given that Snow and Charming are now about 60 and they didn’t age Lana up at all. The AU doesn’t make sense (what we can piece together at least) unless they rewrite large portions of the universe and character interaction. Even if it’s undone by the end of the episode, this whole “no dark curse” thing requires certain facts of the Onciverse to be undone.
My thoughts exactly, but better articulated 🙂
It seems that EQ’s wish would have to be very long-winded and detailed to create this mess of an AU.

ParticipantThe big villain was defeated
Who…? Rumple? Because we have shots of the EQ showing up at Henry’s knighthood.
And isn’t there a still of Snow pointing a sword at EQ/Regina/whoeversheis in her full EQ regalia just like in the pilot? Or is it just my imagination?

ParticipantDo you guys think that magic Blue put on Gideon will mean something?
My assumption was that it was a fairy godmother thing, in terms of her placing her protection over him and/or connecting herself to him as his fairy godmother? Perhaps being his fairy godmother grants her certain abilities, such as always being able to locate him, hearing his call if he is in trouble etc?
Good point. Could be 🙂

ParticipantOkay, so based on this, I now have a new theory
What if when Emma gets stabbed with the sword (assuming it’s the same sword as the one in her visions???) only the dark part of her dies, and that the dark part of her needs to die to perform some huge task, or to stop the savior shakes? Like the savior shakes are caused by the battle of good and evil (esp. Dark One evil) within her? Either way, being stabbed ensures her continuation as the Savior with only light magic and goodness inside her?

ParticipantIf you are into spoilers, the sneak peek for ep 10 might help to answer you question 🙂

ParticipantI wonder if Patrick Fischler could return as Isaac for this episode? He did write page 23, and last we saw of him he was arrested by the Charmings. So he’s probably still locked up somewhere in Storybrooke.
I wonder if this means that page 23 is the original and her current story is the one that Issac rewrote…a theory that many of us including myself postulated and begged for an answer over 🙂
Maybe the AU we will see is what should have happened if Isaac wasn’t in the habit of writing to control the stories.
