No, this was established as far back as Season 1. We saw Nova in big form, when she met Dreamy/Grumpy. We also saw Tink in big form in Season 3, and Blue even chastised her for “going big for no reason”.

-We got to see the Black Fairy, and we got to find out who Rumple’s mother was.
-We got to see why taking children was his habit.
-Interesting that Aladdin decided to become a genie.

-Why didn’t Morfetus just tell his mother what was needed from the beginning? I know that this was done to create drama but still it made no sense. In fact, it would have been better if she had never gone back into the dreamworld state in the first place, and that she just decided to give up the baby in the end. Squid ink could have been thought up by Regina or Emma.
-Where exactly can Blue take baby Gideon? Can she cross realms now? Did she cross the town line? And how does it protect him from his fate anyway? Rumple could still in theory use the shears on him, and they might meet later on in life.
-Who in this episode was the changeling? Which baby changed? Or, which baby was already a fairy that replaced a human child?
-Why is there STILL no acknowledgement of Zelena raping Robin? Why no conversation about it? I mean, if Regina is never going to be able to forgive Zelena, it would be for that, surely? (Yes, I want a conversation about Regina’s rape of Graham, too).
-LOL it is probably Jafar’s sword.
-If Rumple is half-fairy, then he should have been a bit magical anyway before becoming the DO????
-I have said this before, but why, now that the EQ is separate from her, have we not seen Regina’s white magic again?
-I agree with others: Belle had already said that it was over and there was no going back. So what on earth was the conversation in the elevator?
OBSERVATION
-So Henry IS the meeting of dark and light magic after all, seeing as he is related to the Black Fairy (yet he himself isn’t magical???).
-So Rumple, Henry and Neal are not 100% human?

-Actually, how is it possible to produce viable offspring from two different species? (This is one of my pet peeves in fantasy and Sci-Fi)

So…..Rump made a fairy age? Is that…bad?
Yeah, I am confused as to how this will impact the Fairies. I mean, sure it’s not great but it is not as bad as killing one and sending their body back. Maybe they can’t be killed, only be weakened through artificial aging?

In the first vid, I am so hoping that the baby doesn’t become ”chip”…the cup that is now broken.
I get that how Rumple responds to the baby in the flashback will probably serve as a parallel for how he deals with Morfetus. Maybe in the past he accelerated the baby’s maturation into an adult? Though I can’t see what the point of that would be. I do think that both MorFetus and the baby in the past are linked to the title ”Changelings” though.

IF Henry is in this AU, then maybe Bae somehow made it back from Neverland to EF when Emma was 18.
Does anyone know if there are pics of the actor filming? If not, then I think Henry is not in this AU.

I just don’t want Robin actually back on the show for good. The writers are the worst. They hear only what they want to hear. The real problem is that people don’t want Hook back, not Robin dying. I think the majority of the audience doesn’t give a crap about Robin. I know he has fans, but the problem was how he died and how Hook came back and that Hook came back at all. It was not that Robin died.
I’m obviously not in the majority. I loved Robin, whenever he actually had something to do, and when he was not made to look weak compared with Regina or like a sleazebag. Robin had so much potential, and they killed him off before they had chance to develop his potential.
I agree that he shouldn’t have died in the first place if Hook was going to live again.

I know, right? They should never have gone their originally with any reflective surface being a mirror. That is just such a mess because then Snow could be found anywhere even when she is off hiding in the woods which always begged the question of why is she alive. Seriously, the mirror world makes me think of so many questions and so many inconsistencies, that i just have to dismiss it from my mind for my own sanity.
I have been questioning how Sydney was able to spy on everyone if there are a ton of mirrors with little indication as to which one to look in. After all, it took him more than 50 years to figure out which mirror was his escape route. I can only guess that whenever EQ ask Sydney to spy on someone, he sometimes was able to find someone, and other times not (and sometimes he lied about finding them and sometimes honest about not being able to?).
Another thing is that Snow was out in the woods most of the time. Reflective surfaces likely would be bodies of water. If Snow was not near a river or a puddle, then it is unlikely that he would have been able to find her. He may have been able to find her if she was staying at someone’s house and that person was lucky enough to have a mirror, too. But overall his ability to find her would have been limited.

It always seemed possible that Charming’s dad came from an unknown story. The Evil Queen knew something about it and it is assumed that she learned that from Hyde since Regina didn’t know.
I hope so. If Regina knew and kept it a secret the whole time from Charming then I would be upset.

Onceaholic “Does Henry know that killing EQ means killing Regina first? Why didn’t he realize that the EQ threatening Regina’s life is an empty threat?”
He knows. I think that in the scene where EQ gives him the hammer, he does say to her something like “Why are you doing this, it will kill you too” and Evil queen says, its becase she is certain that Henry will make the right choice,,, So she was just so sure that he would kill the dragon, that she wasnt worried about her own life.

I think that’s it. It’s…insurance. Just in case ABC pulls the plug after this year they want to be able to say that they gave answers to some of the bigger questions that people hound them about (Lily’s father, the Black Fairy, ect). Now I don’t think ABC is going to cancel but…insurance.
Could very well be. I think this could be one of two things. We either see the Black Fairy in this episode, we see why she’s presumably awful and why her wand was taken away and maybe why Rumple hates fairies and then we never see her again. As RG said, it’s insurance in case they get cancelled. Or, we get to see a lot of Black Fairy going forward but that would only be possible if……..Blue Fairy was actually Black Fairy! Obviously I’m hoping for the latter.
I just hope that while they’re scurrying to wrap up old storylines, they won’t leave even more plot holes and retcons. And while it definetly does seem like OUAT is standing on it’s last leg, I’d love for fellow Dark Fairy Maleficent to make at least one more appearance, seeing as she would seem like the one fairy who could know the Black Fairy best, considering they’re both…well…dark. And if we’re lucky, maybe the Black Fairy can finally expose Shady Blue.
