ParticipantLet’s all be civil about this but….did Hook deserve to come back to life (by way of a god-blessing from Zeus)?
Nope. For the reason that was given.
He does however deserve another chance at life for dying and attempting to take all the dark ones with him.
Actually, Zeus needs to rescue Aunt Em and Milah and all the others that were nice or were trying to improve from the horrible places they went to. Only then do I think that Hook deserves to live again.

ParticipantHmm so Regina’s make up gets darker and begins to channel the EQ. The make up together with her grieving ( and how it affected her last time) makes others think that the EQ is about to make a come back. Henry, being one of them, decides that the best thing to do is destroy magic after all to protect Regina from herself, to protect others from Regina, and honestly, there has been enough death and destruction in the past 3 years because of magic that Henry has had enough.
However, the silly spell that he acquires from the Dragon (who has been in SB the WHOLE TIME since the second curse) and then uses to remove all magic from Emma and Regina has the opposite effect and makes both the light and the dark magic stronger. Regina becomes the EQ, and she and Emma become arch enemies once more.
(Dragon’s back. Yey!)

ParticipantI hated this episode. It was a nonsensical, distasteful mess. One of the very few moments that had any meaning was Robin’s funeral. There was such a HUGE contrast between Regina’s dignified grief and Emma’s crying and carrying on. One actually had emotional depth, the other was so hollow that I felt like administering a slap. In fact, I want Regina to administer the slap to Emma in the next episode, because it’s her fault that Robin’s dead. I’m peeved enough that I want the ratings to drop because of this episode.
Yep. I agree with all of this.

ParticipantWell. This was one big stinking dollop of nope for me.
What a mess of an episode this was. 3/10. Points go to Regina and Zelena’s actresses, or maybe the only three things I liked about this episode.
LIKES
-Robin had lines.
-Robin had balls re: Regina giving the baby to Zelena. (First and only Outlaw Queen tiff).
-Zelena choose Regina over Hades, and killed the latter.
DISLIKES
Oh, where do I begin? First the general dislikes, and then the plotholes.
-The baby was named Robin. Too predictable.
-Robin dies.
-Robin dies, and then apparently is not as worthy of living again despite helping to defeat Hades in his own way. Only Hooky-Poo is worthy, it seems.
-Be careful of the waxwork (plastic?) crystal folks. It’s lethal.
-Emma wants to defeat Hades because she wants to protect the town. End of. So drop it, Charming. Oh wait, now the writers agree with Charming. What???
-Arthur is killed. Camelot arc ends before it has begun. He decides that his destiny was to fix the underworld instead. What a cop out. What a waste of potential.
-How did the book in the Underworld write itself without Henry?
-How the heck did Hook send the page up to the Overworld? Until now the only way to send messages or influence the living was through the telephone box. Well, color me confused. Please excuse me while I skirt around this gaping big plothole.
-How the heck are pages able to appear in the Overworld story book? Again, above plot hole. Again, Henry is needed to write it, and he didn’t touch it.
UNANSWERED QUESTIONS (COUNTS AS A DISLIKE)
So why did Hades not want the souls to move on then????
So I guess we are meant to assume that the rules of the Underworld can just keep ticking along without Hades. Cruella and the Blind Witch will be there to monitor, perhaps torture a soul or two and prevent others from crossing, but the rules of the Underworld…where do they come from?? Not from Hades, obviously. Perhaps from Zeus?
CONFUSIONS
-SO Hades CAN kill living people then? So why didn’t he kill the sailors himself? Is it because he couldn’t do much before his heart restarted (he was only able to activate the crystal after he his heart was restarted).

ParticipantI wonder if he will be gone temporarily/presumed dead at the end of this season, then seen later on in season 6A alive just to test the audience’s reaction to his absence. Strong reaction=keep the character. Weak reaction=ditch the character.

ParticipantSeriously, are the writers playing a game of old-style exquisite corpse? Are they even bothering to look at the World-Building and character building and the plot building they have done even one or two episodes ago?
(Geddit? exquisite corpse? Hook?).

ParticipantHook chose to stay in the Underworld when the Orpheus and Eurydice-plan went bust. Do you think he’ll actually stay dead/down in the Underworld? If not, how else can the heroes get him back?
This one is a no-brainer. He will not stay there for good. There will be some magical loophole that will allow Hook’s soul to re-enter his rotting corpse (sorry for the description, just trying to remember what Hades said) and for his body to be revitalized and reanimated with his soul in it.
It might be something to do with a reward from Zeus for his tremendous sacrifice etc etc.
Here’s what I think will happen. Zeus will find out that his brother is up to no good, and will team up with Hook to help our heroes. The press release kinda hints at that possibility. Zeus also finds out that Emma and Hook passed the true love test for the ambrosia, but that Hades tricked them. Therefore, Zeus gives Hook some ambrosia after Hades is dealt with. A literal deus ex machina.
Or this. Probably this.

ParticipantHmmm 7/10.
LIKES
-That TLK didn’t occur between Belle and Rumple.
-That a villain got their comeuppance (Pan).
-That Hook will stay in the underworld (though this will likely be temporary)
-That Robin got a few lines.
-That Henry got a few lines.
DISLIKES
-Again (like I said about last weeks episode) please stop saying that one person is capable of directly changing another person.
-Still no clarification on whether Hades was capable of killing people in the Upperworlds to get more souls for the Underworld.
-Still no clarification on why Hades wouldn’t push Mila into the river himself.
-Still no clarification on why he needed more souls in the Underworld-why he needed the sailors to die.
-No clarification on why he needed baby Hood.
-So Hades decides he wants a new life with Zelena, and Zelena agrees, AND they shared TLK even though he tried to STEAL HER BABY??? What a turn-on that must be.
-A useless flashback. It added nothing to the current plot. Could we see why Robin claims that he has a dark past? Or spend the time on the SB-as -the-new-Camelot plot, please. OR use the time to show Regina coming face to face with more people she has wronged/killed and her helping them move on? OR more time spent on helping the other souls move on in general?
CONFUSIONS
-So I guess that Emma’s heart can be taken if willingly offered?

ParticipantSo is Hades going to kill Robin with that plastic lightning bolt, right in front of the baby and Regina?
Plastic…ouch.
