ParticipantI actually hope that they do science vs magic again rather than just ”let’s get rid of magic”. I really enjoyed 2B.

ParticipantKing Arthur again…finally. So they haven’t forgotten about the SB is the new Camelot plot afterall. He will probably come in at the end of the ep and we will see the Camelot plot wrapped up in ep 22 and 23.
Meanwhile, I hope that that dwarf gets saved from being a tree.

ParticipantIt saddens me to hear that Regina will return to her evil ways.
I mean, losing another love….she can’t catch a break, can she?
I would understand it if Regina became the EQ temporarily, (because of her grief over possibly losing Robin, or because she thinks evil is more efficient for solving problems) but she has come to far too become the Evil Queen permanently.
It would make more sense if Rumple was the big bad for season 6. He said to Belle that he wants to stay dark, that there is no way he would relinquish his powers as the Dark One. Whereas Regina wanted to change and DID change.
Another plothole coming up, methinks.

ParticipantI think you’re right WickedRegal – there’s no way the funeral can be for Robin given Regina’s composure in that scene. Unfortunately, I think you, RG, and others are right that Robin will still die – which I’m extremely unhappy about. Does this mean he won’t even be given the usual treatment of having his farewell episode focused on him in the flashback, since that seems to be about Hades and Zeus?
I really hope that we get a Robin flashback, whether or not he dies. They promised us more backstory for him, in particular to explain why Robin claims he has a dark past.

ParticipantIn this promo, Emma is distraught and Regina is only mildly affected.
-Hook: it could be his funeral. But in ep19 Hades said that he is already buried (I think)? Perhaps they are postponing the funeral because they haven’t had time to have one.
-Snow: She is Emma’s mother and they have had the chance to get to know each other.
-Charming: He is Emma’s mother and they have had the chance to get to know each other.
If i is a double funeral, I would say that the other person is Zelena, Charming or Snow. Regina is not upset enough for it to be Robin.
However, there maybe another one or two deaths after the funeral. One of these deaths after the funeral is probably Robin, especially as we have the clip of Robin telling Regina that she is his future.

ParticipantHe shouldn’t be able to take her anywhere, unless Zelena is conveniently unable to use her magic again to get out of her situation

Participant– The way the reappearance of Robin was handled. It seems ludicrous that he’s been running around the woods of the underworld with a baby. Then he tried to shoot a dead man. It’s beyond belief that the writers can’t make this legendary character more interesting.Quote
I know! There is so much juicy material to jump of off with this character, and they have done nothing with him! Instead they have dumbed him down.
Perhaps if they gave him better material, material that involved the character displaying a greater range of emotions, he wouldn’t have to look so grimaced all the time lol

ParticipantSpeaking as a barren woman….
I would love to see her get pregnant (due to TLK breaking that curse while they were not aware of it, though we would be missing the woosh).
I don’t think the show has made her not quite satisfied with her adopted child. Quite the opposite in fact. He was even her carrot for her improvement. Her pregnancy would just be one more child to add to the family she already loves and appreciates. So I don’t think that the show’s message intentional or otherwise is that a child of natural conception/related to you is the ultimate happy ending. The child would just be one more piece of her Happy Ending.

This is the episode I have been waiting for since season 1….the ep where I get to see baby Regina and her mother’s relationship. I am afterall, a Regina fan.
And I was kind of disappointed.
-baby Regina looked nothing like adult Regina, nor acted like her (facial expressions etc).
-Cora was too nice to baby Regina. She was abusive when she separated Regina and Zelena, then gave them both the forgetting potion, but here it came from a place of misguidance. Even though misguidance can result in abusive parenting styles, Regina’s hatred towards Snow seems to have been caused by more than just misguided parenting….until now, when we find out that even in the past Cora did love her daughter. I just don’t know what to think about Regina’s turn to the dark side anymore. I guess Regina was quite isolated and therefore had no positive influences from anyone except a kind, weak father….the very epitomy of ”kindness/love is weakness.” Perhaps it is the combination of misguided parenting AND isolation that resulted in Regina’s broken psyche.
-I am not sure that it fits that Zelena can change so easily. It took Regina months, years to become the evil queen, and then months, years to change back to her former self. This shows that 1) it takes work to come back from evil and 2) Regina’s resistance to the darkness shows her strength in character. Compare all this with Zelena. Yes, Zelena was originally good, but she descended into darkness very, very quickly, as if her darkness was strong in her all along. It should follow that returning to her former self will be more difficult and a slower process than it was for Regina.
-I am in two minds about Cora going to ”the better place” so quickly. It’s a very nice ending for her, and it sticks to theme of ”hope” but I felt that she needed to suffer much more in some way first before moving on to the better place. I just felt that she didn’t work towards her Happy Ending.
-Regina and Zelena’s relationship was fixed too quickly. Happy memories and pretty words from their mother should not erase what they have done to each other as adults, especially after what Zelena has done to Regina as an adult.
-Robin shooting a dead man. Where is our intelligent Robin Hood gone?
-The message that one person can change another person. They can help each other but not change them (which is what they were really trying to say). Another person can be the carrot, the motivation for a person’s change (like Henry was for Regina), but that change needs to come from within (like it did for Regina). Change does not happen because another person directly causes them to change.
I did like Cora apologising to both daughters though, especially to Zelena. And it was very well acted by all three ladies.

ParticipantOooh family secret?
Hope it is to do with why Cora’s lineage is magical…..
It would be interesting if Cora is descended from gods/Fairies/Kings as well….My hope is that they are descended from Morgana or one of the gods.
I hope the family isn’t ”cursed” to use dark magic. (Then again if they are descended from Morgana then maybe they would be).
I really hope that the family secret isn’t something boring like one more reason why Cora had to give Zelena up.
