Participanthas she crossed a line though? She doesn’t know that Cruella has been “banned” from hurting people and is unable to actually hurt Henry. All Emma knows is that the lunatic has a gun pointed at her son and has every intention of using it–or so Emma thinks. What wouldn’t a mother do in this situation? I dunno. If this is the big push for Emma becoming dark, it’s sort of….sketchy.
agreed.

ParticipantSo in Cruella De Vil’s case…Evil can be born. RIP Cruella…I’m seriously going to miss this lady! And that twist was everything…finally a shocker none of us expected!
Yep, Regina was wrong. Evil can be born. It is not always only ”made”
I hope that there will be continuity with both concepts; that evil is usually made, but is occasionally born.
Yes, I enjoyed the twist. It was something different, and it was refreshing! But also very confusing. The apprentice said that we are all born clean slates. Well, Cruella was not. I am very confused by the world/concept building right now.

ParticipantI would like to give this 10/10, especially do to excellent acting all round, though Victoria Smurfit/Cruella particularly stood out.
Thing is, I am still confused as to the definition of ”Realm”. It was used to mean land/dimension/planet/world again….and a few episodes ago it was used to mean ”kingdom”.
The other thing is that we learned from Cruella’s backstory, is that evil can be born as well as made. This is fine, Regina can be wrong (she was only speaking from her own experience), but the apprentice ought to know that not everyone is born with a ”clean slate.” (May be he said it because the author put words in his mouth to convince Snow and Charming that because their child has potential for extreme good or evil, that the evil needs to removed from her and placed in another? Thing is, potential for both or one or the other is not what I would call a ”clean slate”).
So yeah, I enjoyed this episode, but I don’t know what to think of this one, tbh.

Participant1920s Fictional London (and apparently many of the story realms) do not exist in time; they are just lands of stories. What did you make of this development? what does it mean for the other lands we’ve seen? Do any lands change or move in time? Does this means that nothing is “real” in the lands without time?
I was glad to find this out.
I was happy to get half an explanation regarding why the EQ and RH and WWW (for example) would be around at the same ”time.”
Now all we need to know is
1) How does our world know about them? (Is the author orally spreading and publishing his stories in our world?)
2) Why, if they are fictional, do they actually exist? (Never Ending Story? Repeated storytelling=belief=gives rise to life and conciousness? Or did thing go the way of Sophie’s World?).

ParticipantFun (kinda) Exercise : if you were hired by ABC today and told to do whatever it takes to bring ONCE’s rating’s up what would you do? You can change a current a storyline ,add or kill a character, change publicity tactics, whatever you need to do free rein Also side note according to the promo for next week’s episode it seems like a lot of SQ bait which is a big fan favorite do I think we could see a rating boost maybe 1.7-1.8?
-Fill in all the plotholes
-Deal with the continuity errors
-Bring in Morgana, Merlin and Arthur.
-Better CGI
-Have a better man than Robin of ***** for Regina (pardon my language).
-Have Regina apologize to everyone for what she has done…with genuine remorse.
-Have Regina put the hearts back in the people they belong to (if these people are still alive).
-Have Regina admit to killing Greg’s father, and Graham. Also have her admit to sexually abusing Graham or whatever that was.

ParticipantIs anyone curious to know wht Rumple cannot write HE with the enchanted ”quil” he has, but the author can? Is the heart of the truest believer required?
Also I wonder whether Pinocchio knows so much not only because of his travels but because he comes from the same enchanted wood that the ”quil” comes from. Maybe there is a magical/psychic connection there.
Another thing…the enchanted wood was able to bring life to Pinocchio….so maybe as a quil it brings life to the words on the page and the characters the author writes about (or at least influence them/change the direction of the story).

ParticipantYa know, other than to bring Zelena back, does the whole Marian=Zelena thing really need to happen in order to make OQ happen? I mean, Marian already knows the deal. She knows and accepts RH is in love with Regina, she already expressed knowledge and acceptance over it, and we know about the page showing they already met in the past before it was seemingly altered or whatever. Sure, RH had to leave SB to save Marian and all but they could have just shown them raising Roland as two, separated parents in New York. Heck, maybe in the six weeks there maybe Marian would have met some another person and started to move on herself. (Ofcourse this person would inevitably be revealed to be some sort of villain/fairytale character trapped in our land too because this is OUAT). Anyway, OQ would be free to be as they are without them having to pull this whole magical mumbo wumbo timey wimey, alternate person inside a person thing just to get viewers to accept OQ. Right?
right.

ParticipantMagic has made Rumple’s blood thick and goopy; only with the elixer can he be healed. But how long wlll the potion last? And how about the other villains–Regina and Hook–do they have the same condition?
So perhaps there is another way for the Dark One to die afterall.
I mentioned this as another way to die on this board a few weeks ago…..that it was possible for Rumple’s heart to be the death of him.

ParticipantI like this episode because this…
–6 leaf magic clover. Are you kidding me? So how did Belle recognize Sean if she only saw Tom?! See. They just created another problem!
….was the only plot hole (the other episodes had numerous),
and we got to see more RH and more of Zelena. Both LP and Rebecca Mader’s acting was superb.
9/10.
