-Maybe Cruella’s furs (or some innate magic) allow her to jump realms. Perhaps she went to NY voluntarily to lead a better life and set up her fashion line because she wasn’t going to get her HE in FTL.
-Maybe she came to our world via Jefferson’s hat, before it got wrecked.
-Maybe she came over with the second dark curse, and her best mate, WW, gave her a potion that allowed her to leave SB and start a new life in our world with her memories in tact (or maybe she struck a deal with her).
-I don’t think she came over with first curse. Even if Regina kicked her out over the town line, and she somehow retained her memories (because, say, she crossed when the curse was still intact), she might have tried to blab about SB. I can only assume that SB would be visible to us Earthlings if they are told to look in the right direction, otherwise Regina would not have needed to kill Flynn. (which is why I don’t understand crossing the town line makes you unable to see things on the otherside).
3) Im going to go out on a limb and say maybe the darkness has nothing to do with the queens and actually has something to do with The Hat. Maybe when they do the spell or ritual or whatever to release the fairies, they release everyone in the hat including some kind of…dark…creature..entity..thing >> sounded better in my head.
Yes!
Or if could be related to Maleficent, if she transforms back from the dust.Or punishment from the Sorcerer/ Author for finding the library or trying to find him/her/it!

onceaholicParticipantDay 10- Least Favourite Guest Character (Appeared in 3 episodes or less)
I am surprised no one said it…
Bo peep!!!!!!
Horrible acting, especially the cockney accent. Was the character supposed to be drunk?
And just the fact they used a nursery rhyme character in FTL.
Just no.
( I don’t like them using Frankenstein, Alice in Wonderland and other stuff that are not fairy tales either, but I really do draw the line at Nursery Rhymes!).

Belle’s Mom! So kind and loving and smart and strong!
Loved this actress, love her in Mr Selfridge. She’s excellent.

onceaholicParticipantAnother idea: maybe the BF or the Author need Emma’s magic? They need that particular brand of magic or ability that can tap into Earth’s forgotten magic (or maybe she is the exception to the rule and she can generate magic out of nothing?).
Maybe BF didn’t help Regina, because if Regina hadn’t have chased Snow all over the EF , SW wouldn’t have met charming and there would be no Emma. Also, all the obstacles are needed to make Emma and her magic/abilities stronger?
Can’t think how this would fit in with Rumple creating Emma’s magic (or did he?)

Peter Pan, simply because the actor who played him was terrible…which is a shame because he was a villian without a sob story (well it was mentioned but not really explored), and his overall aim was not to be loved, it was something else which was a refreshing change.
Robin Hood is coming in at a close second because he is being made to look like jerk.

onceaholicParticipantI 100% Blue either is the Author or knows who it is. Why?: 1– She and August had a talk. We know August most likely knows the author’s identity (he added stories to the book). Why else would he have reason to speak to Blue who SHOULD have had no memories and been an ordinary nun. Nah. Pinochio and Blue Fairy know eachother. I am telling you. Something fishy is amidst. 2–Her line to Snow about Emma’s story “Revealing itself to her” during the flashback scene in season 3. Snow even questioned what that meant and Blue just gave her some shady vague answer. Yeah, no, I don’t buy she is completely useless. She knows something.
Good points. Thing is, I think (can’t be sure) season 1 finale showed the broken curse washing over BF and her getting her memories back, so I am bit confused.
Did they say that Pinocchio was coming back in 4b? can’t remember. If so, hopefully we will get more answers pertaining to his relationship to the BF etc.
Actually, I have just remembered what Rumple said: that like energy, magic cannot be created or destroyed, it can only change its form, so I don’t think the author or the blue fairy could be feeding off new magic or energy, but they need it in a particular form? Or there is another reason why the stories must keep going…maybe just to continue their own existence, like the NeverEnding story.

It was Robin until 4a; his recent storyline has made him look like a jerk.
The Mad Hatter/Jefferson is my favorite.
Dr Hopper, Graham and adult Pinoccio all come in at a close join second.
Basically, there are a lot of supporting cast members whom I feel are better actors and have more interesting characters than some of the regular/main cast.

onceaholicParticipantDoes anyone else wonder if the author and the Blue Fairy are in cahoots?
I mean, Blue Fairy always arrives with a solution or a half-solution at the last minute, and she tried to prevent Tink from helping Regina when she needed it the most. It is as if the Blue Fairy is helping the author make sure there are always problems for the heroes to solve, and villians for them to defeat, to keep the story going. It’s as if there is a reason why the story must keep going, you know, like some kind of power or energy created as a by-product of these events are being fed on directly by the author to make him more powerful?
I realise it is likely wishful thinking that the reason for the Blue Fairy’s general uselessness is something larger (and evil BF theories have been going round for years), but I thought I would put this out there, with slightly different twist on it.

Aurora.
I enjoyed the actress in The Tudors, but her acting skills seemed weak in Once. Also I find the character to be a bit of a brat.
Mulan and Ruby come in at a close second (weak acting).
Tamara…was okay by herself. I quite enjoyed the character and the science vs magic concept that came with her. Greg by himself was okay too. But together they were awful, both the characters and the acting.

February 6, 2015 at 10:18 pm in reply to: ET Online 2/6 – Bosses Tease Regina's Pursuit of Happy Ending #295478onceaholicParticipantThankyou for sharing this article.
Horowitz continued, “Rather than dealing with the direct aftermath of 4A, we’re instead letting the characters grow from that so they can prepare for what they’re about to experience. And when a new event occurs at the start of the season you’ll see that they’re all once again thrown into turmoil and there’s a lot to deal with and we’re really interested in seeing it play out.”
Finally some slow pacing to allow character exploration and depth. I hope that we will get to see long-awaited conversations, such as Emma confronting Regina about almost killing her as a baby then making her go through a miserable childhood separate from her parents. Any friendship between these two that does not start off with this conversation I cannot take seriously.
“This back half is a lot about what makes a hero and what makes a villain and it’s about trying to realize our happy endings,” Kitsis revealed. “The [storylines] that we were teasing in the first half [of season four] with the book and the author is really going to be in this front and center of this second half. We are really going to be furthering with Regina on her pursuit of a happy ending.”
We already knew this but it is good to know that Regina being more active in 4b is not something that the writers promised then changed their minds about.
You here that, Evil Regals? Woohoo! We know that there’s still hope for Regina and Robin Hood to reunite, but our formerly Evil Queen is going to be on a quest to find happiness within herself — and the best way to do that is by tracking down that mysterious author
]Well, this makes no sense. Seeking the author is looking for happiness externally, not internally. I just hope that this is the article writer’s strange interpretation of things.
“I am excited for fans to see when The Evil Queen first met Maleficent and we get to learn more about their history,” Kitsis said. “And we’re excited for Snow and Regina to continue their friendship.”
Me too, though I think that Regina still needs to apologise to Snow. In 3b, ep 18 she kinda sorta acknowledged what she put Snow through, but she did not acknowledge it enough or apologize. I don’t want to see just Regina protecting Snow (that’s the easy way out), I would like to hear the words ”I’m sorry.”
Even though Regina has been on a path of redemption, with Emma’s it certainly has opened up the possibility of many different magical powers.”
Regina already taught Emma some dark magic in 3A, (and some more in 3B?) but does this mean that Emma will be tempted by the dark side? Will she give into the darker side of herself for a short while, and do some dark magic?
