I thought this is usually about where their best chances are for picking between supporting/lead. Rather than whether you truly believe the person is lead or supporting. Though actually if there are any leading men on Once, I think Robert Carlyle is really it. He’s the most fleshed out male character on the show.
I’m hoping someone will put up the list of what episodes were submitted by each person.
Still, if there are ANY acting nominations I’ll be pleasantly surprised. I love the show but it’s a genre show and Emmy voters don’t like those. Though I think that with all the green-screening that Once should definitely be up for a Creative Arts/Technical Emmy of some kind.
[adrotate group="5"]AliasscapeParticipantHeh, in addition to the above, I’d love to have a commentary that Jared Gilmore is on.
Also I’ve seen extended pilots a lot on DVDs so I don’t think an extended episode cut is out of the question.
AliasscapeParticipantI think Henry’s young enough (or at least innocent enough) that the TV trope of infant immortality will apply to him. I guarantee you even if Regina nukes the entire town Henry will not die. And being that he’s her kid, it’ll make perfect sense.
I agree with you about Archie though. He’s peripheral enough he could be lost if the show lasts awhile. Belle dying (again?) could be another catalyst for the Rumpel/Regina war.

I’m the only one who thinks David of Mary will die? It would be a cliffhanger for the end of the season and I’m still thinking the title of episode 22 is going to be the cliffhanger at the end of the season.
Well that depends on if you mean “die” or die. David and Mary could always “die” but I kinda think it defeats the purpose of the entire series if they were to actually die. Kinda would wreck Emma EVER having her happy ending of finding her parents. So yeah, David, Mary, Henry and Emma would be very last for a dip in the death pool in my opinion.
AliasscapeParticipantNot a fan. And I don’t want to have to deal with an August and Emma romance.

You can really see how not being able to find her family has messed Emma up. I wasn’t a huge Emma fan at first, though that has completely changed and now she is my favorite character, but the opening scene has really grown on me. It shows that Emma is vulnerable because of the loss of her family and yet is this strong bail bonds person. And then Henry came.
Even more than that though. Even if she hadn’t been able to find her family, if she’d had a stable replacement home she probably would have grown up able to trust people enough to form some kind of lasting attachments.
Seems she never had a trustworthy foster family or any friends worth keeping. Probably not any that didn’t want to take advantage of her.
But yeah, after seeing Emma with her cupcake, you realize how she could up and move town, leave her home, her profession and not have a single person email or call her to say “Hey, where’d you go?” Makes Henry giving her that big hug and her slowly wrapping her arms around him more poignant.
Now if we could JUST get her to hug her Mom.
AliasscapeParticipantI’d be fine with losing August or Sidney. Preferably both.
AliasscapeParticipantLove 10th Kingdom. It’s on my list of movies to watch over the Once hiatus. That and Syfy’s “Alice”. Maybe a Shakespeare movie or two.
AliasscapeParticipantMidwestern US.
And I’m pretty sure it IS airing in Italy. I was talking to someone there about it. It began airing there on Christmas day 2011.
You can see some start dates on the wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Once_Upon_a_Time_(TV_series)#International_broadcasts

Can I be keeper of Emma’s mobile? (The one that hung over her crib.)
Did I get skipped?
