Hm… alright. How about this.

When Hook first shows is new outfit to Emma, she tells him how much he reminds her of this guy she used to date, she can’t remember his name though, but that doesn’t matter, because he looks so HOT in his normal outfit. Henry likes it too and tells Killian (he now exclusively goes by Killian) that he couldn’t wish for a more stylish new dad. Elsa then arrives at the scene and falls madly in love with Killian because well he’s just so HOT. Just the kind of guy she needs to warm her up. Then Elsa and Emma fight over him with magic and Henry gets caught in the crossfire. He dies. But Emma doesn’t mind because she’s won the fight and she will now make new babies with Killian.

Crazy sad enough for ya? 😉

Alright, I’ve realised I can spin this Hook spoiler thing in a positive way! Hear me out ok. So Hook gets some new threads. That only shows that they know how weird it looks for Emma to walk around with a pirate as a boyfriend. It shows that Emma would feel quite silly, dating Captain Hook, that guy she read about in the Peter Pan storybook when she was a little girl. So they have to make him less Hook to fit Emma.

As for a Neal 2.0? No way.There’s only 1 Neal and nobody will be fooled by Hook’s new outfit. You can change the cover of a book, but the story remains the same. On top of that, they all know the pirate look does well with the fans, so it’ll be likely they’ll modernize his style to still remind the viewer of his pirateness.

And really the more they make him Killian, the more the real Captain Hook can be left alone to be piratey in Barrie’s book. Killian is a creation of Once, he’s got nothing to do with Captain Hook. Not for a long while now and if they keep up this transformation they will eventually be two entirely different people. Personally, I’m ok with that.

Eduardo is the only one on that show still doing something right. Although every now and then there’s a miss (jellyfish) instead of a hit, but overall he does great work.
